Either one. The only thing I use them for is to spot divergences. That tells me that a current move is about to reverse. So if I see an outer band touch with a clear divergence on either indi, it adds confidence to the trade. It really doesn't matter which one I use at the time.

I notice from several of your charts that you are taking counter trend trades. Are these the ones you mean? Reversing as the five meets the fifteen with an indi showing divergence? -thanks, Jason

If the market is really moving just keep adding to winning positions. Lock first trade to be +5 and keep piling on S&R 1 or 5 minute and let the market do the rest. I have a manage ea that I use to take 1/2 off and let rest run if I can't watch. It is really a lot easier than we sometimes make it. I only use all the market strength indies you guys use and trade the strongest in the direction of larger tf trend. Channel indies repaint and always will so why worry about it. It will only bite you if you are counter trend trading. If they help you get in the macro wave in the direction of large tf wave take half off at say 20-50 pips and let it run..........Back up and look at the big picture.

I will share the trade management ea I use it anyone can use it.

Thanks that looks like a great little trade manager will give it a go shortly, meanwhile took this GBPNZD entry as a strong hrly uptrend and came down to its lower band hrly well quite close, so thought its time to start trying to get an entry to stick for the big push back up...

Either that or give them room to breathe. In very quick to move to BE. I miss a lot of bigger moves but I also don't get caught out very often.

I'm probably trying to be too clever here and catch the actual bottom instead of waiting for the 1 min middle band to turn green but its bound to go with a bang when it goes...

Yes but like you I know it will go sometime so best to play safe and go to BE around 5 to 6 pips with GBPNZD...

I tend to look at it like this , if its going to go it will go...

Looks like we got a green centre this time which bodes well for the new move up.....

Persistence pays off in the end, hopefully this will stick now and just keep going, took 5 goes but got there in the end...

What I should of done of course is used Renegades trade manager and taking 5 pips off each trade,..

Heres anothyer little idea for using these 1 min channels , how about every time the middle band changes colour take the first cci pullback and hold until the middle band changes colour again???

Just a thought....

Isn't that just the original system but using the band centerline rather that the color changing MA? Color change, first CCI signal trail it and get out if the MA changes color...

Yeah I took GN trade before I saw your post. Nice bullish 1 hr candle but had a hard push down. Will see how it plays out.

hey clive it looks like things are getting a little confusing maybe you need to reassess things .its all about consistency and there doesn't seem to be any just my opinion

Just took a GA also. As the other it pushed down hard so will watch it close. At lower channel and strong support.

Nope out for nowt after being 30 plus pips up yet again, God knows how many pips up I've been on that little episode, I'll wager 50 plus pips have gone begging there in search of the hrly move. To come out with nowt is a trading disgrace...

But thats what I find whenever I go for the higher timeframe move, it just keeps coming back at me until I get frustrated and just give up...

I think time is fast approaching where I accept what I am, a scalper, through and through just haven't got the patience or discipline of the higher timeframe boys...

I bet it will fudge around here for a while and then disappear into the hemesphere long after I've given up on it...

I'm off to hug some orphans...
