look at this post that i posted end of junejust as a reminderlook how the inner band meets the next white band together at the bottom for a nice long.Tip.....this goes for a nice long giving nice pips profit.some may take the profit and say thankyou.but if you look at the longer move eg the yellow band....this is pointing up....so if the the small inner white band pulls band downwards ....this would be a pull back on the higher timeframe.when in the trade of these small channels and you see the next higher time frame turn up too....you then can follow.the bigger mover on this bigger channel2 things you can do....stay long and ride it all the way up or trade long take profit then let pull back happen then trade long again.Each trader can choose his highest timeframe....15? 60?? Even 240look at this big cycle timeframe lets say my highest is 60mins....if i see it turning up at the bottom i then look at the next timeframe down so its 15min....im looking for this to do the same as the 60mins....when it does look for smaller cycle eg 5min to do the same and then look for 1min price to touch down the bottom of the channel and turn up......this should give you imagination of a clock saying half past six as in all the hands are together at the bottom.in this instance all 4 tf are lined up in sync.so you have done top down process.lets say we go longwatch price maximise the move on the top.timeframe so in this instance the channel turn at the top of the timeframe abive it(240min)We then do the same again top downwards to exit.on the low timeframe.....eg cloxk face is all hands up together on the 12.you can trade any combo you like.....1...5...15 or 60...240...1440 etcits important you line the channels in right direction and pay attention to higher timeframe directionbecause you could be trading against the direction of the bigger timeframe....countertrend? Pull back.hope this helps

Took 16 pips out of this top trender EURJPY on way up to its 15 min upper band so lets see what happens here...



Battle of the Titans, top trender versus 15 min upper band....

Took another 10 out of EURJPY and taking another quick 10 from this GBPJPY sprint to the 15 min upper band..





37 pips in about an hour 37% should really stop now but feels like a good day ahead and first appointment not till 11.30 today so why not see if I can squeeze a few more pips??

Or will I give it all back????

Bit of GBP strength here but top trender GBPJPY right up against his 15 min upper band so not sure so will leave it alone..



If it pulls back down to the 193.25 level then maybe???

Just watching this GBPJPY top trender at this 15 min upper band wandering if the power of the 1 minute trend will over power the 15 minute boys???



Mind you its an upsloping 15 min channel so not really a selling opportunity...

A definite reaction on these top trending GBP pairs around these 15 min upper bands now if I get a lower high I might be interested...

Knew I should of gone to work...lost 2 trades trying to catch an early reversal off of the 15 min upper bands but the 15 min channels are up so selling before the 1 minute turns over is a no go trade plus they were top trenders and of course top trenders will be pushing the outer bands all the time...

In a bit of a dilemma as usual as my top trenders have kept pushing upwards today and although they tend to pause at the higher timeframe TMAs they still mange to push on through, of course they do its where the new days monies going...

Very interesting as I like the channel trading but also my TTindy is still giving me some good pairs to trade but the signals conflict each other so very difficult to know where to side..

The best way I guess is to play the top trenders and use the upper bands as targets and watch out for possible reversal setups if the 1 minute middle band turns over, otherwise just keep going with the top trender..

However once its pushed past its 15 min upper band its likely to turn over at any moment especially if the Hrly TMAs come into view...

Lastly looking at Jasons super trend indicator and it does give nice signals so maybe only take the ones with the trend and on the 5 min outer band back with the trend...I wouldn't take any against the 1 minute channel direction...but with it?? Yep looking good...

Take a look at this EURNZD chart as some good examples..



Similar thing here on GBPNZD using the 1 minute channel extremities..



So its a sort of a mix of both systems , keep an eye on the TTindy within the channels limits...

They were buying GBPCHF before the news so this 50 pip news spike down just gives them a discount price to continuing buying...so who am I to argue?? Just jump on board for the ride back up, fingers crossed..

nearly got me but looking better now...

Targeting 15 min upper band but will be trailing up to lock in some profits too just in case it misbehaves and comes all the way back..

Hit the top of the 5 min channel and came back so hit my trailed stop for 12 pips..better than nowt but was up 30 plus pips at one time..with the power of hindsight should bank at upper band of the 5 min downward sloping channel let it come back to lower band and go again...

Funny but I always seem to get it right with hindsight....
