the indicator produces dots once a certain fractal as been formed in conjunction with the Zig Zag indicator
Once a peak as formed and two lower highs then that level is set with three blue
dots So no repainting .
Those dots will increase every hour until another level is developed
The reverse applies to the red dots

Hi Raylin
To me its important to understand fractal nature of the indicator.When fractal occur they are usually last ditch impulse waves of particular swing and often most times its a signal that PA is running out of steam hence continuing same direction of fractal is less edge if you will.
Let me illustrate what I mean.
Notice on my chart just about every time after livery signal PA went opposite direction.
I have been trading double Bollinger bands for years and BB 2nd 3rd deviations often signal exhaustion levels which your indicator shows as well.
To me once your indicators paints a signal it should be interpreted as signal for direction change as this shows tail end of the move.
My inputs should not deter you what you are doing but thought to share my insight whatever its worth.
I put the arrows myself to illustrate my point.

Forgot to mention you can trade TDI cross same as MA's
My set up is faster then default
8 5 2
Default is
13 7 2 basically same as MA's cross over but with TDI it shows exhaustion levels better OB OS (although price can stay OB OS prolong period of time and should only be used as guideline but not trading signal as most rookies do)

Hi Davit You system looks really interesting
This probably works for you as you are trading all day long
I can see you are taking the trades off the bounce off the fractal were as I am using the fractal
as a trend continuation indicator.
The reason I developed this strategy is that I can put my trades on before the market opens .
By 10.00 am uk time is the last time I need to adjust my trades ie Set and forget
As I said previously I am achieving an 80% plus strike rate .I have forwarded tested for a number of months
and taking live trades on certain pairs
Very cautious in the last few weeks because of the Greek debacle but hope to start with a 500 live account next week
If successful I will open up my trading explorer to the public

The original ema,s were 20 and 80 ( exponential close) so a number of graphs displays those indicators.
I have now modified the system to 7 ,28 exponential moving average close as suggested by Davit
Its entirely up to you how you trade the system if you use a faster moving average you have more trades
Initially i was using a 20,80, and 480 moving average.
Sometimes I found the 1 hour and the 4 hour trend was giving me clear signals but the daily trend kept
me out of trades
ie 20 ema daily equals 480 ema on hourly.
Basically this system is just another break out strategy .
I do not cancel trades just before the news I just try for 10 pips on the first trade and take a free
ride on the 2nd trade

Raylin,

Thanks for sharing your system.

Seems if you are risking 50 pips to get 10 (first part of the trade), then at 80% win rate you are breaking even on that part of the trade. Are you making your profits on the second part of the trade that you let run?

This is a great different angle on the system Davit. The indicators and system you posted above, can this be taken and used on a 30minute timeframe to the same effect? I have been playing around with BB for sometime and like the idea of incorporating the TDI as you have shown, this new indicator looks to put the icing on the cake. I am an intraday trader so I am looking for a number of set ups each day, so maybe the shorter timeframe can give this, but without compromising the results of your system?

I would also be in on /Jpy under normal circumstances but a bit wary of Greek crisis
All trades look like they are in profit with free rides
