US$ strength, local and chinese economics are the most important factors for aussie.
Greek vote "yes", Aussie may gap up a little bit, but fall down again in the day!
Greek vote "no", I do not what happens for Aussie, but fall down quickly in the day!

No Matter "yes" or "no", US$ is the only winner!

Better to work out Tuesday than worry about Greeks problems, IMHO

A 'no' would mean global insecurity, and usually that means a flight from risk currencies and unwinding of AUDJPY carry trades resulting in drop in AUD.

Agreed. I think more or less the "no" vote of Greek referendum has already priced in AUD weakness last week. It's more advisable to focus on Tuesday's RBA meeting and Thursday's unemployment figure.

More or less the same... Those buyers may have a false hope of the pair spiking over 76 yet the story might be totally different

Safest play would be to distribute buying across price and time if you believe in longer term up move. But that's kind of overkill unless you are trading big money.

Everything points that it's time to be bullish, once the time is right - it's a bit of "catch the falling knife" still. If it turns up, try to catch retracements and exit if it fizzles down. Leave the knives and forks to those with deep pockets / buy hold.

If it goes to 0.755, then I'd look for buy but I wouldn't try to force it - some of my indicators say we could see 0.74 possibly less - particularly if eur/usd has bears around 1.14-1.15.

I will prefer pending sell order in my opinion @0.74757 ish for about 250pips on daily basis chart

If you want to go short I'd be very surprised if you can't get a better entry than 7475ish. Patience required

Well we didn't open with a gap up but that's alright because we are only down around 20 pips since Friday, with RBA holding in interest rate tomorrow I will be in profit again.

Just because it dropped below 0.7600 support doesn't mean we will go all the way down to .07100 so easily, every 50 pips down is a strong support and sooner or later AUD will be back above 0.7700 again.

Hi, I am new to this pair so I was looking for some insight. By what you said, looking at the sentiment and the 4 hour RSI everything seems to indicate a possible bounce upwards. However, I see such a bearish trend that I am not sure whether I should wait for it to come down to the .07200 or .07100 levels in order to buy or go in now and hold even though it drops.

Also, if the RBA meets its forecast of 2.00% would this be positive of negative for the pair?

My current view is that with so much recent focus on Greece not much attention has been given to the big week for AUD (rates and employment). As a result I don't think the market is pricing the rate decision (which is almost completely likely to be a hold and see) correctly so we might see a spike up to 7600. Having said that the AUD almost always acts strangely when it comes to interest rate decisions so be prepared as always and don't turn your trading into gambling!
