Too little, too late.

From a market perspective we officially closed a big chapter with Greece defaulting yesterday.

The only leverage left for Greece was the threat of default. It has hounded the markets for years and now.... is gone. When fear clears up from the table, only reality will be left naked. In the case of Greece (from a market and international economic perspective) is just nothing to see. A tiny hollow box with a bunch corrupt and bankrupt politicians without anything to offer to the european and world economy except a tour of its beautiful islands....

Greece took the plunge defaulting and markets have sit tight seeing a bluffer jumping to the abysm to convince the rest of the world that is right ...well market are just witnessing the falling without trying to avoid the crash because they are tired of circus and don't care much more the final outcome ...

Don't get me wrong, I am sure we will have jitters and knee jerk reactions from the referendum and Greece leaving the Eurozone if they vote No, but once you cross the line of defaulting once, mid/long term fear is gone and for Markets and trading, that was the only thing in play with Greece.

We haven't move much yet but we were in the middle of the KEY Q/M/W triple summer combo that answered a lot of questions across main markets.

For the rest of the week we are aligning for another volatile weekend with a super early and key NFP that will kickstart the new season and can put the dollar on the launching board for the first hikes in September. Added to the US on holidays on top a noisy referendum in the background ....

Nothing to see here, same trades, same levels, same all ....

When you said that the top was set for the year you meant 1.1466? Or new top at 1.1244 for the remaining months?

We easily held 1.122. I saw you were tracking 1.128x and we've got confirmed quarterly support to really synchronize the techs for the rate play.

Important NFP to track tomorrow. I think US numbers have been solid lately despite the soft FED and we saw good consumer confidence numbers yesterday so let's see if the trend keeps up.

When i mention setting a high or a low it means of current candle in the TF.

In the cases I have mentioned here, we have this yearly candle (2015 bar) high SET and we are going to SET the Q3 2015 (Quarterly) high in the current leg (the current short term wave) very early.

big show was Monday, actual default deadline came Tuesday and markets were flat...US equity futures now bouncing well, the relief rally party was gonna happen one way or another, because the balloons had already been bought, and it would have been a shame to see them go to waste...yep, Greece show is over, just the sad clowns left to sweep up the mess....always so so sad when the circus leaves town. But another one will be here soon! - yep, it's the Fed Rate Hike Show....omg, I am really almost as sick of that one as I was of Greece. And now I will have to hear about the freakin Fed for another 10 weeks. But watch the UST's - credit anticipates and equity confirms - the bond market will be doing the Fed's heavy lifting this Summer, and short bonds is likely the easiest trade to be found.

Indeed. Hats off to the bastards on Monday. In these cases, only pro and large capital movers and shakers set the tone. Masterful management of the risk event. One to take notes for reference in the future...

Agree on the bond market. On the FED, yes Rate already launched since last FOMC but first party starts tomorrow... it is going to get annoying and repetitive this summer but we will get a nice yummy mid term waves across the board in most instruments so already set and ready to go here ....

...and that was it for session. We couldn't take the lows yet... News coming and given the short week in the US, these are the only ones for positioning for NFP.

Direct impact expected. Inline or better than expected for a direct test of the weekly lows. Anything else and we will stay in the wide range area until tomorrow....
