Nice posts and I think the actual drop was more like 85 pips straight to the 5 min lower band where it reacted again for a nice 75 pip run back up but doesn't look like its stopping this time as its pushing right through , will watch this with interest as some serious repainting has got to go on to make this look right...



Gonna keep an eye on this as will be interesting to see how the chart looks in 30 mins time compared to now...

Watching this GBPNZD with interest as at a turning point but the 15 min is up the 5 min up if anything and the 1 min green maiddle band so definately up, first thing we need to see is the 1 min turn down for confirmation that it might reverse...



Not the right time of day but lets just watch how a signal either follows through or if our system keeps us out of a bad one...

Going down???? 05.56hrs and the 1 min turns red,,,

Another one to watch here as at the top band of all 3 TMA's but they are all sloping up at this time...



I'm interested in watching and recording these signals minute by minute to see how the TMA's repaint to correct them selves regardless of out come but more importantly do they suck us in even if we follow our rules...

Quick check on GBPCHF one minute has turned down and middle band red so a good start...



But notice the 5 and 15 min are still up...should I be even contemplating selling against the 5 and 15 min trends???

Getting interesting on GBPNZD here as 1 minute turned down but the 5 and 15 min are firmly refusing to follow...



But I like the look of this one and now We're back in top half of the 1 min channel ideal for a sell..

Clive - I don't know whether you've realised this yet but you're probably gonna have to use different atr on different pairs.

Touched in but I see the 1 min is turning green, could be a bad sign .... Should I leave signals like this where the one minute middle band is wavering??? Now if it goes on to be a good entry that middle band will be red but if it goes against me it will be green and we would appear to have broken our rules...



Also note the 5 and 15 min TMAs are still up, but again if this continues down I'm sure it will repaint and show them down...will be interesting to see how this signal looks in 10 minutes time..will it paint a whole new picture???

That was a loser and its not looking too good now and nor is the setup, looks like I broke every rule in the book but I didn't look too bad at the time, however the 5 min and 15 min were both sloping up so should I even have been looking at that trade????




I think I'd have to say we need to wait for at least the 5 min to turn our way before taking any such trades and maybe even the 15 min too otherwise dispite being up against the 3 higher bands we still need the 5 and 15 min sloping our way before we take any entries like that against the 5 and 15 channels.

Look back at the EURCAD trades I posted from yesterdays trades last night and you will see the 1 , 5 and 15 minute channels are all pionting up so that should be a golden rule before even contemplating any 2 or 3 band entries.

Golden rule trade with the 5 and 15 min trend only....

Interesting exercise thou...only way to learn..

With the power of the almighty hindsight and looking back over my last few post selling that GBPNZD I would say you must have all 3 trends agreeing, sloping the same way so when up buying the bottom of the 5 min waves or in a downtrend selling the tops of five minute waves as a minimum requirement and a AAA+ setup would be with the same top or bottom of the 15 min there too...

Trouble is I know I haven't got that sort of patience to wait for the perfect setup so it might be better for me to trade the 5 min and 1 min setups and when they coincide with the 15 min waves look for the bigger runs...

Thats just me though , thats what suits me ...

Here you go heres a perfect setup to lock into our subconscious brains, this is what we're looking for...

15 min sloping up , 5 min sloping up and minimum requirement AA+ entry, 1 min channel lower bands meets 5 minute lower bands..1 min turns up..



Or even better a AAA+ entry when all 3 timeframes are sloping in same direction and all 3 lower bands are touching..

As per our EURCAD run yesterday...



Simple really just buy wave bottoms in an uptrend and sell wave tops in a downtrend and when they all agree.....BINGO!!!!! Its party time..

Right in the middle of Frankies hour and very often we get major reversals kicking off in here that then go on for the session..

Interestingly my 4 top trenders are all coming down to their 15 min lower bands, I wonder if that might be where they reverse???



15 minute channel bottoms could be the ultimate reversal setup for my one minute charts

Look at these two Frankie reversal trades, look at the touch trades off of the 15 min TMA,s almost to the pip, didn't quite have the confidence to just take an entry off of them but after a pullback got into them both...

These 15 min TMAs seem to be amazing turning points for the 1 minute trades.....





Even against the 15 and 5 min trends so can just imagine how good they are in the same direction...
