and scalped another few pips

price bearish cos of the 5 and 15min channels and the 100lma

there is demand zone at the bottom so will be looking for price to look bullish

take a lookat the price in yellow 15min channel,,,,,top to bottom to top to bottom!!!!!

go long at the bottom demand,,,,where is your target?

my eyes are on gbpcad m1 to go long and target 50pips

this is why....lma point down (red)
channels are not turned up yet,,,,waiting and i have the demand zone as a support area

I still get some PM's from time to asking me if I still trade any using Clive's method and if so have I changed anything from back when Van and I were posting more regularly. I do still scalp some 1 minute pips when I have the time and not much has changed since back then.

Nice and simple really.

Clive I borrowed your chart because it shows things perfectly. You can play with the CCI setting and the MA setting to tweak how many or how few signals you want to sift through but the premise stays the same.

  1. Market Opens
  2. Trend shows continuation or changes (MA color change)
  3. Price in this case moves under the now red MA
  4. CCI goes overbought with divergence (double divergence in fact)
  5. 25 level
  6. PA was staying below the MA

Simple.

No sorry. I was just using it to find price extremes. Devontrader suggests looking up Hurst cycles.

Does the hurst band repaint?

no hurst does not repaint,,,if you read the book its about calculation of bars from swing point to swing point to have a good prediction of turning points

by doing this and other info given you can predict where and when price will turn.

the simple use of the indicators set to different settings gives you the benefit of when price will move and which direction the channel is in.

i posted charts that showed the lower timeframe,,,,,eg m1 m5 and m15

when all the channels come close together then its powerful to change direction however,,,if your looking for price to go long then obviously the channels will want to be pointing upwards
also with supply and demand it adds confluence to your move as well as clive and his method.

im just suggesting 2 possible additions to clives method to strengthen his system.

clive may reject either or both or add,,,
as for the individual its everyones choice.

personally i follow clives method aswell as hurst,,,SD and harmonic patterns,,,,,but i listen to the longer term timeframe and drill down to lower timeframes for entry.

Nice to see you're still around, always good to see your posts...

Thats a great chart and the perfect example of what we're after day in day out with this system,

Thats almost the perfect entry there isn't it? The first CCI signals are always the best I say and so it proved again today..

Got an example of my own to share with you...

Was just pulling my pending order into place after the reversal signal and the CCI had just pulled back to the -100 level, ready for the expected pop back in direction of the trend when....

BANG!!!!! 51 pips in 36 seconds, I think thats a record even for me...Its all about timing your entries...

Like we say Pres78 those first CCI signals after a slope change are the best entries of all....
