Hi Turnip, I have been out running (in the rain, I luv it)then weights..
The 15 min ORB E/J was good on the short break even though it did fail on the high break BUT it did hit a round number (Maybe Claudia has a point ).
When I traded the ORB I would trade the high/low or both but only once...
I just took a look at charts. lets see how this new 4 hour bar goes. I am done for the day though...

Good point about that 14000 round number. Claudia does have a point about them but I failed to take notice of it, but no harm done. I simply looked at the 8am price -what I think I really should do is to look around the immediate price and note things like round number and support/Resistance etc -like I normally do for my own style of trading and apply it to the 8am 15 minute bar price?

You have to keep stats and this will aid you, Note how often these trades win. lose and what sort of gains can be made.
It is like me using a 20 stop to gain 5, according to the books/gurus I cannot trade perhaps I cannot but I don't lose .( I know how to trade a loser)
You are doing well Turnip and as long as you know why you might get a loser you will go far. It is experience and sticking to a plan. I shall let Claudia tell you about Bands/lines , be good

Awful weather -two large downpours in two hours. And temperature drops lower than one would expect for late June. I need a glass to counteract the depressing aspect of the weather (trading was okay though).

a new day to trade, E/J - the weekly candles suggest it dropping, if it gets to Mon low that will be on the 20 ma, so may prove difficult to trade, It depends on the time of day like last Friday. Or maybe drop to Mon open. Lets see, look for clues or wait the break hopefully.. Trade well.

I only trade these sorts of levels when I am correcting a losing breakout trade.
But I shall ramble on regardless, we have a high and a low level at this moment in time 00-25. If the high is broken long it and if low broken short it. The entry does not have to be precise. Remember we are also on a round number lol..
I am only trading the daily break..

Cable, Claudias baby,, the daily inside bar broke Last Thur mother bar earlier and it should drop, If it doesn't don't blame me I am just saying. My friend isn't speaking again so I will try and talk trading instead.

E/J Monday low was broken ..It happened just after Frankie open , I am not normally bothered about Frankie open but it is worth knowing about so thanks to Claudia for mentioning it last week.

B = E/J low 13926 was broken and I took 6 pips (1 extra as they add up)
A = remember me saying how I would trade a losing trade and showed a level?t hat entry was approx. 13980, That is what I look for.OK I wasn't expecting so many pips but it is getting the 5 which counts. (I DID NOT TRADE THE LEVEL)

Cable did drop, a typical inside bar break, Claudia has been speaking about it for a few days now, I cannot add much more but look where it is on the charts,, (Daily)
