Phoned FSCS again this morning.

My name is on the list for payment. They are waiting for KPMG to give the green light to make payment. They expect this to happen by the end of this month.

OMG FSCS still has to wait for KPMG's nod to disburse payments? I hope you are getting the FULL amount from FSCS and not having to pay those ridiculous fees.

They pay out in USD then your bank will convert it to the native currency

Payouts from FSCS will be in USD. Can't be changed. Your bank will automatically convert the payout to your accounts currency and most likely take a conversion fee in the process.

I phoned yesterday to FSCS just for my fun to ask them if I am on the next payment list ...
On my and Alanīs (fscs employee) surprise he could not find my name anywhere... hello? wtf?

So I write to KPMG, asking them how is this even possible, I asigned my claim to fscs on 11.5., on 19.5. they confirmed me that they give it forward to fscs and now I get their replay as:

I can confirm that you have agreed your claim with the Joint Special Administrators and that you have chosen to assign your claim to FSCS.

Due to the number of checks that need to be performed to ensure that a client can be paid, including confirmation of personal and bank account details, some clients who have agreed their claims in the Claims Portal will not have been paid in the first tranche of compensation payments. The JSAs and FSCS are working through these as quickly as possible and if any further information is required from individual clients, the JSAs or FSCS will be in contact. If no further information is required it is envisaged that those clients will be paid in the next tranche of compensation payments. FSCS expect to make the next compensation payments in June 2015.

Now I am relly angry....
It is not their money, but they keep earning interest on our account...so unfair, and nothing to do against it.
I know it will be back one fine day, but which day ?

At least they confirmed IN WRITTING the next payment....IN JUNE 2015.
