I find it very dangerous to make absolute statements like this.

In the market there are absolutly NO RULES. You can trade just how you like, just as long as you make money. I bet there a million guys out there how have money in the long run trading fundamentals, technicals, moon cycles, gut feel, anything...

WOW that's something my friend. What "indicator" he use? Maybe he use the "yo-yo" system.

Just in case I am not a fundamentalist. I pay attention on what's going on and for tech I use the if indicator and sometimes, the rising sun indicator.

We at FF are not proffesionals traders..if we were we wouldnt be here, and the proffesional trader have the experience to know what to trade because he has seen this many many times. But for us New beginners, we have still a lot to learn. But I know that a proffesional trader loose 1 out of 100 trades..So please dont come and be mr papa here. Have you ever talked to a experience trader a proffesional who makes millions out of Forex, future options, stocks etc...But I have..And I saw the reports on his trades.. I dont think you should be pessimistic hier.

If you beleive that people at FF are NOT professional traders why do you refer to them for advice? Why do you think a bunch of non-professionals can help you to proceed in your trading career? Why don't you just stick to your professional 99% friend to win this game?

I am lurking and interacting with this forum since March 2006 and have learned so many hands-on techniques to deal with the market that I probably couldn't find them easily anywhere else. I respect the people who take part in this forum and thank them for all I've learned from them. If you review my comments within the last few months you will see how I managed to evolve with the help of these people which by the way I believe that many of them are true professional traders.

I am not pessimistic about Forex trading. Just for your info so far more than 80% of my trades have been winners. However, it doesn't guarantee that I make billions of dollars in the near future. I try to be realistic and accept that this is not me who drives this market and the fundamantals behind it are so complicated and the major players are so huge that you need a combination of knowledge, money management and psychology of trade to be able to make it. THERE IS NO ABSOLUTE WINNING STRATEGY IN FOREX but there are people who keep winning and going ahead.

To me the important thing is to go ahead, be wise, enjoy my successful trades, and learn from my losses. If I make 1000 pips or 10 pips in a month I'll stay the same wise, realistic, happy person. My goal is to trade and enjoy it. Money comes next which is by the way a very important initiative to stay and move forward.

Anyway, I wish you luck and hope you make billions of dollars every year.
