Disliked{quote} Hi cuch, It's a very interesting idea to use stop hunting as part of your trading plan. I have personally faced this type of situations quite often, but most of the time I could avoid losses because I tend to move SL to break even point quickly. But like you could imagine, I sometime miss the big moves as well. Could you teach me how to identify those area? I'm sure a lot of people will be interested in this topic. Thank you !Ignored
Just need to train your eyes, and look for the obvious places where most retailers would put their stop....either cause they just got in the trade, or they are trailing.
Usually the last swing.
Also, after the run, is the safest place to put your stop.News are used to flush most players...If I trade 4 hours, my stop is very wide...if I trade 5 minutes, I close way before the news.
Hereīs a homepage of professional traders who base they trading on stop hunting, they have lotīs of you tube videos explaining..I donīt use their system, but definitely pay attention to stop hunting. Itīs horrible to get flushed, only to see it run in your direction...without you...
