I've got a SPY Jun/Jun5 $200 put calendar I paid $0.34 for, trying to get out for $0.10-$0.15 profit today. I don't see SPY dropping too much more in the next week+, and the upside b/e is going to start slipping away from me....

took $0.15 net off this, glad to have it, not looking for perfection on the longshots anymore & paid too much for it in the first place

SPY looks to have a 61.8% retrace (see picture). Just opened a couple of Jun 12 $208.5/$209 bull call spreads for $0.23. If we recover next days, $209+ at Friday should be possible.

bounce in progress?, snooze/lose, I missed an entry under $0.20 on the weekly $211, no prob, I got in some short put spreads on what I saw as a turn off the 100sma, let's see if that line holds, will be looking to IC off those short spreads if SPY can bounce back towards $210+ to close the week.

I am still sitting on lotsa cash, didn't sell as many put spreads as I needed to, but we'll see. I will go back to selling call spreads if we start to run up well.

I have been trying to set these credit spreads up for expiries every week, but was very one-sided, so everything got bought out in the last week's slide and I am looking for more ....

Well, definitely the way to go is not to make Iron Condors all at once, rather sell call spreads on rips, and put spreads on dips.... As you said, a poor man version of K.T.S. style... Margin req for selling just the /ES July 2155 call for example is over 7,000 eur on my account... Much more profitable tactics, BUT better to practice with spreads...

I didn't enter any option trades today, scalped a little... Daily SMA 150 was support today on /ES... Look at the daily candles on /ES and /NQ now. Plenty to go to the close, but maybe the bounce will be there tomorrow also. Best scenario would be it stops around midday and off we go lower again with Friday sell-off, bwahahahaha... Yeah... VIX can't go over $15.50 no matter what.

noting the big moves on the U/J and other yen pairs, taking a peak at FXY - pretty illiquid, but it could pay if the BOJ follows through
