Just starting to play w/ the adr % tp/sl settings... and will run on different auto accounts for 24hrs...
question:
Do these tp/sl adr% settings apply to the combined trades total (their combined total p/l) within that currency pair 'group'...
or
each individual trade's total within that currency pair?

I guess what I'm asking is:
Will it close just a single trade if the % is hit....
or
Will it close ALL the trades of that currency pair if just one hits the tp/sl?

The more I think about it...
It has to take the price point of the 'earliest' entry.... and apply that to that pair's ADR to generate the %.
so...
the question would be: would it close just THAT trade...
or
ALL the trades of that currency pair?

(If it functions similar to the VE Aims ea... then it applies the same sl/tp to ALL) ... idk

UPDATE:
I tested it... manually..
It 'appears' to work like the VE Aims; it applies sl/tp of the earliest entry to subsequent entries (of the same pair).
AKA: They ALL close together.
Which also answers another question: Yes, the ADR sl/tp works with both Auto and Manual entries.

I build a dashboard with the concept to help in the analysis manually.
I am still adjusting color design that could make it comfortable ....

You are wrong here.
The ADR tp/sl is set on every order separate as soon as the the order is entered relative to his opening price.
It is "broker side set" so the individual order will just be closed.

But if this seems to be something to be persuit we can discuss it and build it.

Thanks to clarify that... I wondered because this is what I saw happen.

It must be something FXCM imposes then (if entry price(s) are within a certain pip 'range' or time 'range' of each other)
because
the 2 entry prices were not the same (by several pips) yet enjoyed the same SL/TP.

It was the same w/ VE Aims.... I thought the VE Aims ea was responsible also.

Is it something to consider hard coding into the feature?? (maybe a good thing)

If you are gauging the 'validity' of the tp capture by its % of the ADR,
then
the 'earlier' the entry the better.

As you get closer to the 'edge' of the range... the probabilities for the same % capture decrease.
So
the earlier entry has the more 'realistic' TP.
Conversely,
the latter entries have the better SL against loss.

If coded, then:
Each subsequent entry would bring a newer/better SL to the 'group'
and ALL would enjoy the TP of the earliest entry.

anyway...
I have a concept to improvement for "pair selection" for daytrading daily/session (D1/H4)

I think...
My Day start from Pacific session and Close after US and I use GMT 0 broaker
Thread...
I need Yesterday's Range (High-Low) of all 28 pairs, so I can select the narrow pairs and broad pairs
the same case is must apply for Previous H4 , so we can identify which pair is providing "HIGH PROBABILITY"
if we apply this to Week (W1), its for weekly trading.....

"Previous Range of H4,D1,W1 of all 28 Pairs"

one thing...
if today have a high impact economic news, yester day done a range variation like narrow

I think these options can add to Dashboard.....
