Please make a version to double the lots of the other pending order when one is triggered and close both when their profit and loss cancels assuming the one with double lots size get triggered.

Yes, these are the key reports. I get their email updates and I tried their SNW software before.

On that site, the Charts are amazing and go down to Tick level. You'll find them to the right of each Item in the Calendar once the News has come out.

Even if you straddle trade, you can utilise this data.

Hey Alan, it seems something was wrong with my mt4 because I decided to reinstall the program as well as the EA and now it is taking the trades as it should. I'm still looking for a broker though because it is clear that mine is sending ticks in a very ad hoc manner. Thanks though for the assistance.

Hi Alan

Just wanted to ask, so post farm pay roll trading, it was 1/3 trades successful for me. having a look at the logs, I saw that in the 2 that I lost, there was just line after line of 'off quotes' and 'too many requests' and 'requote'.

am I possibly using a non news trading friendly broker?

Hi Alan and everyone!

Just 3 questions:

1. Is it not possible to test the AmazingEA in the Strategy Tester?
2. It takes to my broker 200ms to modify the order (I'm 80ms away from their server). Is it fast enough to prevent me from being filled ahead of time?
3. If opening a pending order and modifying it takes the same amount of time then why wouldn't we just set the SecBPO=0, right on time?
Let's say it takes 200ms. If the order is opened ahead of time it still needs to be modified 1 last time (exactly at the first tick of the news candle) so it can be moved to the right location (X points away from the first tick quotes of the news candle). So it actually doesn't matter if it was opened ahead of time or right on time. It will still take 200ms for the orders to actually settle at the right location, isn't it? Unless the last modification is not on the first tick of the news candle. If this is the case then how about when the news candle gaps?

Am I missing something here?

Ok, Alan, please correct me if I'm wrong. I've just tested it with SecBMO=0 and I see that the last modification took place not on the first tick of the news candle but on the last tick of the previous candle. Does it mean that in case of a large gap between those 2 above said ticks we risk getting filled not where we want or not getting filled at all?

Hi Pupsik

That's why we use Pointsaway. I use between 80-100 or upto 150-200 on NFP or FOMC depending on the Volatility.
If you use a M1 or M5 chart on a volatile news event, it may seem like price is whipsawing up and down but the idea is if price moves a few pips, the orders are re-centralized within milliseconds. So if you use 100 then Price has got to move at least 5-8 pips within 200ms to activate. It normally takes the actual reaction to the news to do that.

Reading your post, I should clear some things up. Modifying an existing order is a lot faster than opening a new one, that's why we use PointsGap and SecBAO. Also, using SecBAO=5 means your order gets moved into place 5 seconds before the news. Modify Gap prevents unnecessary trade modifications so the EA is ready to deal with bigger price changes.

Yes you risk not getting filled where you want. Remember a Stop Order becomes a Market Order after price has moved through the Stop Level, hence why you get Gaps/Slippage.

Hi all friends,
Can anyone please help me modify this EA which I found from the Internet?
This EA implements a trailing stop buy and a trailing stop sell. It places an order above the price and below the price. The sell stop order will fall with the price, the stop sell order will rise....but can't One Cancle Other (OCO).
Now, I don't have enough experience in coding to make this EA to work exactly what I want it to do so I hope you guys can help me.

Your Amazing EA is truly amazing Thank you for sharing this valuable piece of equipment.

I have small issue. Sometimes, the EA would delete remaining opposite direction pending order prior to STWAN (with OCO being set to "false"). I am using demo account. Please let me know what could be a potential cause for this. Enclosed the preset used.

I am using the EA for High/Low breakout trades (not news trading) on EURAUD and GBPAUD. Pending orders are placed at the same time for both pairs using more or less same settings.

Hey, glad you're enjoying The issue is due to MaxSpread=35 which will delete orders if the spread exceeds 3.5 pips.

Actually, I would need that Amazing EA attempts to put back the exact same deleted order after the spread goes back below MaxSpread value. Is there any work around for this?
