In my opinion 2015.03.18. Daily candle [close value: 1.08605] is the mother of all bulls.

Pretty basic opening range and European session aligning for a session kf nothingness . Dollar and US session in full control for the rest of the day (and the rest of June). Nothing to see until reports same levels for the last play of the month.... sisse

Though i haven't logged in for ages, i've been following your views from the shadows. Thanks for your efforts

I'm long since Thursday, but those numbers from Friday did not play out the way i planned...
Was aiming for a weekly close above 1.1012 for some confirmation or even a stoploss, but it stalled the last few hours, creating a confusing weekly close.

Next week, make or break

Here's my entry and why... if anyone cares:

Forex Factory EurUsd Positions ("Retail Trader indicator"):
Lot Ratio - 27% (~2,7 times more short money on the table)
Avg Entry - 1.1286 (Plenty of room till this level)
Heavy short lot size with Avg Entry at 1.0872 (already underwater Avg Entry)
May 25 - lot size ratio was nearly 50%:50% (while EurUsd monthly candle closed higher - with current ratio)

-> Trapped shorts?

I reached the same conclusions and have stacked the buy grid in eurusd and some crosses, as well as the sell grid in silver/eur. The sampling at FF is quite low though (350 lots is not much), imho you get a better overview at Oanda labs and fxcm where there is probably a couple of orders of magnitude more money being traded.

Agree, it's not precise, but can indicate pretty well at extreme conditions...I'm monitoring Daily FX Speculative Sentiment Index for an overall sentiment, and FF for fine tuning it.
But thanks for your advice!

If you don't mind saying, how do you get these nice boxes on your chart. Do you have to
draw all that by hand or do you have an indicator that helps you?

Hi!

You're welcome!
It's 'drawn by hand', an experimental AB=CD technique, it is quite simple:
- First choose TF
- Than find a possible AB=C(D)
- Draw a regular AB=CD
- Draw an other 'CD' to the next support/resistance (low/high), but fit the 'D' point to the next day/week/month according to the TF.
- Two horizontal lines: possible 'C' & targeted low/high
- Fit two triangle as possible new entry point (in case of C is taken out) & target
- In case first 'C' not holds: if the new entry triangle not holds, than AB=CD invalid, because it won't be able to take out targeted low/high
- If market turns from possible 'C' point, than draw an other line from 'C' to alternative 'D', which gives a support line
- In case of finished AB=CD, draw a line from 'D' to alternative 'C'
- The two line's cross gives the red box -> between red box and triangle new entry IF it's reasonable on higher TF.
You can start it on smaller TF and finished AB=CD can be a new 'AB' on higher....and so on.

Thanks!. I'm wondering about making an indicator to draw it. Do you know where the triangles go before the boxes?
If you know that, I might be able to get all the rest to draw automatically, once you just put the triangles in place.

Yes, actually every part of the box can be drawn previously:

In case of AB=CD Buy:
Lower triangle:
- the C horizontal line & the alternative CD

Higher triangle:
- the horizontal line at targeted low/high & CD

In case of AB=CD Sell:
Higher triangle:
- the C horizontal line & the alternative CD

Lower triangle:
- the horizontal line at targeted low/high & CD

Would be quite exciting to see it working automatically.
If iT's a mess, than I can write down precisely later today, what definiate the three sides of the triangle

PS:

In case of AB=CD Buy:
Higher triangle:

One: starts: alter D / end: upper horizontal line crosses CD

Two: starts: D point / ends: upper horizontal line crosses CD

Three: starts: D point / ends: alter D

Lower triangle:

One: starts: C / end: lower horizontal line crosses alter CD

Two: starts: alter C point / ends: lower horizontal line crosses alter CD

Three: starts: C point / ends: alter C

But don't forget, on weekly there is still room under current bottom.
Time will tell, as usual.

(Sorry for the ugly structure, what looks nice on weekly, looks ugly on lower TF and vice versa.)
