Yes, but it also good in the sense that it will goes both way. You can hedge if you have confidence. Anyway, remember not losing is winning!

because havent sense to post all the EA that we can find in the net
i dont understand the erebus reason to post a file without search if at least is usefull to us

Sorry to hear that but I highly doubt any virus from the EA

No problem here, did you find out what caused it?

Market is not even open, are you sure it was that EA?

Anyone else report any problems?

The EA works fine here

There's no virus in this file, I have checked it with Virus and Malwarescanner.
Blindly following others will make you blind!

By the way, careful with your trades next week. Manage them well, with cautious to MM.

Just cross in my mind (my thought), that we put SL @ fibo 100% (where candle range is 100 - 200 pips in GBP/USD & EUR/USD lately), while for TP, we set 150% min (or 50 pips).

So, from the above information (12 win, 8 lost) --> where the SL is at the max. range, I think we still lost or break even (BE) --> just my thought.
let assume fibo range is 0 - 100% = 100 pips
12 WIN x 50pips (minimum win) = 600 pips --> worst scenario, sometimes we can get more than 50pips (or even 200pips)
8 LOST X 100pips (maximum lost) = 800 pips.
Overall is still lost...

Even fxlapozi has proof that his acc. is gain, and other trader also win..
Well I could be wrong.. but I want to hear the opinion from other people.. :-)

Just my thought.....

Hello,
guys who makes EAs. It's really good job but why nobody make simple EA with original rules? It's so simple and it could be very helpful for everyone to make backtests. Dashboard is fine, for future, but EA doesn't work with two basic rules. No offense but why everyone try to make something more on the begining? We can see that original version of strategy is profitable for many people including me. And if we want to move this strategy one step further, we need some backtests with clear simple EA. I think, there isn't any indicator. For man who can code in MQL4 it could be easy to make it. Do you agree?

This strategy does not work when market remains consolidate (due to economic news) whole week and then blast hundreds of pips in a few minutes. In previous week, I have lost two trades and the reason was speeches. I think we should make a list of those weeks or fundamentals we should away from trading.

Hi dimdel;

I saw your thread when you first started it and after reading it, I had some ideas for my own Trading.

By Trading, in the direction of, the first Daily Candle to change colour you are essentially Trading the first signs of a New Daily Swing.

The quickest way to spot a potential change in a Daily Swing is the Candle/s themselves, no Indicator will do it faster.

The important thing is the type of Candle, I'm looking for one that has the potential to start a new Swing, what I call, a Swing Breaking Candle a Candle with attitude.

On the chart below I've highlighted some of the Candle Types I'm looking for when I see a change in Colour.

On the chart I posted above you will see an adapted Fibo which shows my Trade Management once I'm in a Trade.

The USD/JPY D1 Chart, below, shows the results of using this Trade Management Method during the period of consolidation shown on the chart.

Thanks for the input. Are you running a hard TP? The reason I ask is because I can see that a little
discretion could have pulled a lot of green pips out of those break even trades. The first BE trade marked
by a blue x has me baffled - it looks like a big winner to me.

Hi Rob;

Yes, I have my Take Profit set to 1.5R. The start of a New Daily Swing Point could be the start of a massive New Trend or the start of a New Range, I don't know, so I Trade what I can expect from the average Daily Swing. By moving my SL to BE +10 pips after a 0.5R move means I'm protecting myself from a Market Reversal. I've learned to be safe rather than sorry I know I will be taken out at BE +10 pips, sometimes, only to have the Market continue in my direction, I don't worry about this because I know with this method I won't be short of setups. I'm know there are a lot of different ways Manage a Trade each individual has to find what they are comfortable with.

See the USD/JPY Chart below it explains why this would have turned into a BE +10 pip Trade.

I've not been Trading this way for long but I can see potential in it going forward.

The way I'm Trading it, probably, makes it too discretionary to make an EA to test it because my entries depend on Candle/s formation to take a Trade.
