Missed this one was watching it when it broke up to the upside, waiting for my pullback but got distracted by my GBPJPY trade guess you need eyes in the back of your head on 1 minute charts..

Break even on my GBPJPY trade because I thought I'd caught the LO runner....as usual
Interestingly I got Mark Douglas's "Trading in the Zone" audio last night and was listening to it when I went to bed and the part I did hear before I fell asleep was about beliefs and once you've got one its almost impossible to trade against that belief. Its how the human mind works to protect itself as it learns what to do and not to do to survive.
He says until I shake that belief off that I've always caught the runner then I will struggle to trade against it. And thats exactly how I feel just can't actually close out for 10 pips when I believe theres more there and trust me I try every time, just can't do it...

Heres something interesting for you all. Been working with Tsatsa on developing an EA to help trade these one minute charts and he's come up with a neat little indicator that alerts us whenever a CCI signals as long as the 150HMA(or whatever you set it to) is green it will alert you to every CCI signal over the 100 levels or again whatever you set it too.
What I love about it is it puts all the CCI signals on the chart as the candle forms so I have a chance to look at the signal and see if i like it or not..
This is very important not to just take any signal, you must look at the chart and decide if you like it or not...only take signals in direction of the 5 min trend..
The sort of things I'm looking for is: 
Heres the same chart but with the 150HMA removed as the indicator takes it into account and only signals when its green so it just makes it a bit clearer for me as I'm choosing my CCI signals from the market structure and levels etc. I find the 150HMA just distracts me from the price action...
Actually lets take all the words off and I think you're see how clear the signals are and how to decide which ones to take, however I think its fair to say if you took them all with 10 pip stops you'd still be ahead with more bigger winners..
Heres one more chart showing entry signals on same pair but in Frankies hour, bloody nightmare, enough said???
So not only can you use it to find good entries on strong trenders but if you drop it on some crap charts or times of day you will see how the CCI's won't work very well, remember, right time of day, strong trender and market structure all add up to a good system..
Ok thats it and heres the indy for you all to use but remember make sure you're on a strong trender and don't just hit entries when it signals have a look around and make sure you like the look of the chart before entering..

- Are they quite early in the move I'm still keen to just take the first 2 or 3 CCI signals as after that unless they are above/below the 150HMA they can let you down.Remember the trend will end sometime...
- Is it at a key level where there has been support/resistance before.
- Has it got some room before I hit the last high/low. basically has it pulled back enough for me to manoeuvre to BE before hitting next support/resistance. EG I wouldn't take a signal just before a BRN or a 25 level or a 15 min level.
- Is it a HL or DB in an uptrend , is it a LH DT in a downtrend?? Reference the last CCI signal...
- Is it a break and retest entry??
- Can I get my 10 pip stop behind a nice level??
I really can't over emphasise enough how important it is to qualify each signal before taking it but also as you will see as long as you have a 10 pip stop you will be fine. Remember you will still get losers but the vast majority will be good..
Have a look at this chart from last Fridays LO, there was EUR strength across the board and as I traded this I also know EUR was top of my CSM and AUD was bottom. Thats how I tend to select the best pair to trade. If say there is EUR strength then I expect to see EUR top so look to see who is near the bottom, blue if possible..Then I look for entries in that pair..
So it was EURAUD last Friday..and heres its chart..
