Remember this quote "Current performance is no guarantee of future results". I trade on daily from 2010 with real money in fully automated mode (by EAs). So i know what i'm talking about.

Good one. I trade Daily from 2009 with real money manually with discretion.

Order expires (if did not triggered during the day) when next candle opens. You can see "expiration" in the trades list of the tester.

EA attached.

settings:
RiskSum - the sum in dollars which you want to risk in each trade. Default 0
RiskPercent - what part of current balance you want to risk in each trade. Default 3%. If you set it to 0 then EA will use RiskSum to calculate risk per trade
SLfactor - what part of previous candle size you want to use as SL. Default 1 - that means that SL is all previous candle size.
TPfactor - the same as SL. Default 1 - means that TP=SL or RR 1/1 or TP is Fibo 200. So if you want RR 1/2 set it to 2. Actually you can use any value.
BEfactor - when move SL to BE. Default- 0.4. We move to BE if price hit 140 fibo.

Looks like the EA just rained on my parade. Not exactly what I was hoping for.

Dimdel,

can you comments on this? If last two candles is green and I do not have long position should we open long pending order? Same for short if last two candles are red?

Dezi, does your EA offer this option?

{quote} I am doing a visual backtest and its odd because its opening orders on white candles and when CCI is not going above +100 or below -100. Also, does the EA check the H1 and H4 CCI values are also above 100 or below -100? See below. I am testing it on EURJPY which is Dimdel's bread and butter from what I've read. {image}

Friend, please help me understand why EA perform worse?

IF we have a strong uptrend I would rather take trade in long instead taking short which is against trend.
