You can argue that 188x will stop it. And you can argue that over 189.8 ish it's real bullish. After all 189 is the 1.27 extension 175/116. Therefore, by default it heads now for the 1.38 at about 195 or so. We DO know that 183 ish is a MAJOR pivot...it has been since Sterling Yen entered this whole consolidation in 1993.

But what if , just maybe, this is not the wave up to new heights. We sure know it's over extended on all time frames. And just what if/maybe it's in an expanding triangle, being one of GJ's old favourites. That would allow a move to 190/191 and still permit either a retest of 183/ or a marginal new low before another move up makes 192/195 and only retests to 183.

So it's either bullish in the extreme ... or it's contained within a larger expanding triangle. I sure know that no one in the popular press has canvassed this option, but it remains a possibility.

Only resistance I can now see is on the Weekly chart, anything lowere than that and we are in clear water. We are approaching that level on the Weekly, which I have at around 188,70, though with the wind in its sails it can easily be targeting 190.00.

I was thinking in the same lines, anyways its a 80 pip trade, close half and have good start for a long with PA having 110 pips to play with, not much but a good start.

Just for a reference, we are in DP now, still see some upside, won't trade here though. If at all with tight stop.

Newbie question.

on the weekly TF. There is a very neat W forming.

Is this a pattern I should watch out for? or am I being a little hopeful?
