I too have taken the order up to the weekly; Just seemed the logical thing to do here.
And the SL moved as per Mike's "Dynamic Risk-Reward-Ratio" concept. (Thanks Mike!

As for Lending Tree (TREE) I shorted last week; my SL got hit:
Now I was wondering - for those of you that trade equities - how does a SL and TP work in the stockmarket?
Does this work the same as in FX?
A while ago I opened a ToS PaperTrade account, but the variety of orders dazzled me.
If anyone could shed a light on this for me, that would be greatly appreciated!

I might be posting just for the benefit of the tumbleweed ( seriously, where is everyone ? ).
Anyway, there seems to be a few things brewing, and this first one is mediocre at the moment but I'm hoping that I've marked up a recent PPZ correctly on the daily and if we see some confirming price action and a break through 1.40-ish then it looks to me like there is a bit of space below (possibly, heh).
GBP/CAD - again, depending on where the daily closes, could be looking to sell around 1.8840, with a stop just above 1.89, FTA at 1.8660 and then space below:

It's unusually quiet indeed - especially given turbulent markets - but then if/when PA is formed things normally pick up.
The E/A setup looks quite choppy to me, whereas the G/C setup seems to have more space, but I think you'd need a very strong looking bar + story so as to sell into the quick bullish move that preceeds it.
I'll be checking the Dailies for them tonight; see what's happening.
(Edit: Here the one I'm looking at, other than the G/U Weekly setup I'm still in.)

Another pair on my radar is the AUDCAD (Daily Chart) PPZ & RN @ 0.97000 150 EMA 61.8 Fib Decending TL Being patient and waiting for price to reach this area and show it's hand by presenting us with nice PA. {image}
This pair looks like a prime example of a range-bound / choppy instrument.
There is trouble-area's everywhere my eyes can see, so I would really like to see an upward move touch the TL you marked for a third time.
That 3rd touch makes the TL 'there' and before that happens, we're left with a choppy pair that show's some support .94 > .9435.

Ultimately, I'm glad I walked away from this one with just under 1/6th R loss.
I'm still interested in the area for tonight's Daily close.
Here's an AUD/JPY I entered, without PA, but the 6 touches of the upper bound, just under RN 96; price breaking through it all, was enough for me.
