Yes FOURX , almost all entries I made were with this method !

Hi zam, what size risk on an entry?

Did you take profits at targets or when an opposing signal /entry occurred?

I was mixing everything FOURX , 5% risk and also fix lot size and I was entering at a new signal again ....for profit taking I was using S/R and not the opposing signal . The last week I was hedging the trades which went against me . I was traveling and had not always good internet connection ...I guess I was just pretty lucky

Hi zam, I see,then it was not really this method, apart from perhaps using fractals and DBHLC or DBHLC for entries?

I agree FOURX , I used mostly another MM as I stated as we are all exploring this strategy here and try to contribute . My next step will be to set up a myfxbook and put the MM on a solid base . We`ll keep touch , thank you for your interest !

Hi everyone,
This thread has been dormant for quite a long time. I have not been active in almost a year due to some medical issues.
I had emergency open heart surgery on April 28th 2015 for a ruptured aneurysm in my ascending aorta.
It has been a very long road to recover but I am now back to a reasonable state of good health.

I had a lot of time to think and look at things during the recovery period. I was not able to trade much until about 8 or 10 weeks ago.

As I started back, I had a different mindset on how I would approach it due to the fact that my Dr insisted on no stress. As I attempted to get back into the swing of daily life with work and things, I pondered how I could still be successful in trading and not deal with the stress of the 4 hr charts.

The result of this no stress order has resulted in my trading on the daily charts. I make only 1 decision per day and to look at 20 markets takes about 5 mins and then I move on. I do not look at them again until the next day at 5:00 pm EST when the new trading candle starts. ( Oh Yeah, I have moved from Stuttgart Germany back to the US for the next 2 years or so) What I am attempting is to be in all of the significant moves and yet avoid the big retracements.
This is a very tough order of business I know, however I have a method that is very similar to my 4 hr method that has cut the volatility and ensured that I am in for all of the trends.....sort of Trend Following with a twist if you will.

I will be making regular posts as I attempt to regain the form I had with the 4 hr charts.

I WELCOME anyone who is willing to come along for the ride, but with a couple of non negotiable rules.
A) I will not entertain changing the system.
B) I will not tolerate rude behavior
C) I welcome all constructive input as people make this method their own.
D) If you want to talk about good wine, we can do that also

I will be posting screenshots of charts on a regular basis so you can see what is going on with how this method is performing.

Yes, I am feeling much better thanks!

I will have an outline of what I am doing in the near future. It is not very different from what I was doing a year ago....same concept, just a couple of different tools.
I think the tools are probably the least important part of it honestly.
I have come to realize that the money management and emotional side are where virtually ALL of the money is made.

Having said that, we will investigate both here on this thread in the hopes that somebody has their personal Ahaa moment and starts taking pips from the market on a regular basis.
