{quote} thanks for replying. in my real account my i have a capital of around 100000 us dollars. i am getting 20 pips a day with trading 100% capital. i know its foolish but i trade london open on a four hour. so once i establish the trend i go with it. i calculate what the 5 days min. pips were. i just trade 20 pips giving me a profit of 150 $ a pip or more depending upon the pair. a month into trading the levels have given me 30000$ so far with no loss. maybe i am lucky

Well there is no way to evaluate this system because we have no idea how much you are risking in terms of pips (is it 20, 10, 30, 5, 40)? the number of pips risked will determine your risk of ruin.

Second, a month of trading is no real sample size. if you can repeat this for 8+ months out of the next 12, with no large drawdowns, then you'll have something interesting.

The Price Action course is the best for pivots. One of my favorite systems is MSB which utilizes pivots. Entries and exits are presented. Easy system, and it only gets better when you learn to read PA.

Hello Erebus,

The new book will actually not include content about pivots as we are just focusing on the price action for this book. The next book may focus on pivot points.

In terms of which course covers the Pivot Point trading the best, that would be the Price Action & Pivot Point Course which has an entire section dedicated to pivots.

Hopefully this answers your questions.

Kind Regards,
Chris Capre

Yes, that is very good reply, I will take action on that when I am ready; do you ever have a sale or discount for forum members?

Hello Guys,

Let me share the trade I just took on the USDJPY.

Price hit the bottom at 97.15. A piercing pattern at 6:40 started off an impulsive move that made price close above the flat top of the kumo. The corrective move that followed was held up by 20ema and senkou span A.

Pending buy was placed at 97.38 after another close above the flat top occurred.

Protective stop is at 13 pips below.

Thoughts and comments are most welcome as I am relatively new to ichimoku.

I posted a thread re: price action course recommendations and one of them was Chris Capre 2ndSkies.

Anyway it got moved to commercial and disappeared into the abyss with no replies.

Can some members give me a quick over view of the courses as I am confused as to which one to purchase (leaning towards Price Action) I can only trade off the daily charts due to work so is this the best course? What other time frames do you trade besides daily? How many pairs do you usually trade?

Any other info appreciated,

Cheers.

I became member of 2ndskiesforex community so I decided to give my opinion here

1. Chris says nothing new or actually usable about price action

2. He is very kind and tries to be helpful, but talks only common sense

3. He will easily make you believe that he did good trade after the market has already moved, but he does not provide trading signals ... interestingly why

4. He is so devoted to promoting his courses and lectures and webinars that I cannot believe that he has any time or will to trade real money. He is just one of the many self-promoting gurus that do not trade and make risk free money by selling courses without trading signals. Real joke.

His course is good. Its true that he talks a lot about common sense, because without it you cannot learn how to READ price action I learn a lot mostly from his webinars not strategies itself which help me to develop my own PA strategy. I love to read intraday charts like a book There are thousand of strategies here on forum, but what you need is mentor who can constantly remind you about trading common sense. Ultimately: What works for me might not work for you. Sorry for my English and peace out!

P.S. If you need a discount code for his courses, feel free to pm me.

You asked "he does not provide trading signals ... interestingly why "

On his website there is the usual FAQ - the answer

Do you post trade alerts in real time?

No, as students would just hitch a free ride. My daily trade setups commentary is done after the NY Close Sun-Thurs.
My students and top traders however post their trades before, during and after daily.
