I posted wrong chart before so i should correct myself

USD Dow Jones - Day - was reacting at 100 SMA on day chart and S/R line... 20 SMA Weekly. If i trade this - only take small steps. This is not uptrend anymore. Thats where BBs will help

It is a lot easier to answer after the event but
1 = top level.
2 = second top level.
3 = bottom level
4 = all candles boxed in, good clue
5 = orb, broke the high
6 = orb broke the low
some people only trade off the first break..
my trading nature now is to look at the next level and then look for clues.
as in you can see where it is heading,

I do not trade this excellent method but every method isn't 100% guaranteed to win.
Therefore I would say it was a fail.
my trade pc is off but that big red candle, was it an outside bar??? you letter A covered it.

Turnip,,,, I actually just fired up pc, that candle was not quite an outside bar, it was about half a point inside BUT if you had traded the daily breakout and held YOU WOULD OF MADE LOTS .
It was cable which i do not touch but Claudia did say it would drop mmmmmmmmmmmmmm if she lived in the 1600s she would of been branded a witch lol.

I call it a double top/lower close -it's something I got from the James16 thread that I find very good, especially if in line with a trend. plus it had broken down through the Pivot (Claudia type set up). However, as Claudia pointed out, it was news time so maybe I should have exercised caution and ignored that pivot break plus double/top lower close

I had traded one orb for a profit. I also noticed that if one pair broke out then some of the others followed similar patterns. I would like to work out how to find pairs that are not "follow my leader" types and therefore "uncorrelated pairs"? Any ideas?

Turnip, I know you quote other sites regarding trading, but what are the stats like.
Do you wait for a set up over a length of time then trade and make a heap of pips and have a workable method.
I get confused or did when I see some of the posted charts where they have high/low lines marked over time and I think when/where do they enter.
That is why I can post one daily candle and say this is how I trade lol. and for more pips look for a level as these are pure price action information and not averages etc.

So far 24 range with e/j almost my trading spread.
Normally we do not trade bank holidays and infact do not trade Mondays but hey ho lets see what happens, after all in the future the stats wont say what the day was.

Stats E/J 1st Jan to 1st May
Trades 101,,,, 88 wins and 13 losses that is 88% strike rate. Last week 5 wins 1 loss..
G/J 1st Jan to 1st May, 99 trades,,,92 wins and 7 losses, that is 92% strike rate. last week 5 wins and 1 loss.
I did not personally trade all the E/J trades last week but a monkey did.

E/J and E/U could drop ---- 20 sma weekly on E/U . E/J has to go a bit under..... E/J is not fully my idea.... (that could take more wiggle ) But E/U look tired

I got 5 on E/J and closed it, I have another trade running hopefully it will drop otherwise I close it for +1.

edit, I closed my 2nd trade on +2.
