sounds like u are on to something here Clive . . . maybe all along it has been about the excellent one minute entries BUT not the one min TT, maybe the the key here is a higher time frame top trender . . . question is, which time frame will yield the most reliable runs? 5min, 15, hour?

Well I'm inclined to go Hrly myself under the premise that the Big Boys enter the daily charts through hrly entries so can expect the hrly strong trenders to give us the bigger runners...

I will do a post later of how I suggest we set up the TTindy with the timeframe you want to trade on TF1 and the 1 min on TF2 then the TTindy will open the timeframe charts you want to trade ,then just select the 1 min chart and wait to see the 120HMA turn your way and enter on first 2 CCI signals..

My GBPJPY is doing well again so just added on another trade, bit too late entering so doubt this one will survive next pullback...

Ok had some success today trading higher timeframe top trenders on my 1 minute charts, made 228 pips in total so thought I'd just explain what I did..

The idea is simple find a strong trending higher time frame pair say 5 min, 15min or even HRLY then when the 120HMA on the 1 minute chart turns your way take the first 2 CCI signals and hold until the 120HMA reverses again or you hit a solid resistance/support level..

So how do we get the charts up?? Simple we put the higher timeframe you want to trade on the TF1 setting and the 1 min on the TF2 setting, then it will open the top 8 pairs for that time frame so all you do is just select the 1 minute timeframe on all 8 charts and when the 120HMA turns in same direction as your higher time frame trend take First 2 CCI entries...

Heres my TTindy settings, using the HRLY trend and entering on the 1 min charts..



Heres how the TTindy looks with the HRLY on TF1 and the 1min on the TF2..



And the TTindy will automatically open the top 8 trending HRLY charts like this..



Note that the TTindy will open them all in the HRLY timeframe first so you can give them a quick look over and see if theres any HRLY CCI's looking overbought in a strong down trender or oversold in a strong uptrender.. These are the potential runners as they are fully pulled back under tension like a bow ready to be fired like an arrow back with the HRLY trend...

Once you've checked out your HRLY charts and identified your usual suspects then select the 1 min timeframe on them all and wait for the 120HMA to turn in the direction of the hrly trend. We have an alert setting on the 120HMA so you don't even have to watch the charts just listen out for the slope change alert and when you get one checkout which direction it is and whether you want to trade it or not??

Then your top HRLY trender GBPCHF gives you an alert that the slope has turned green back in the direction of the HRLY trend..so open up the GBPCHF 1 min chart and this is what you're see..



Now take the first 2 CCI signals or until you get 2 to stick so might have to take the first 3 signals in this example...

Then hold until your 1 min 120HMA turns down again(red) and close out all trades or if it runs into some firm resistance close them out or if you're really feeling bullish hold until the HRLY 120 HMA turns red...

Heres my entries today on GBPJPY and if I'd of held on the HRLY 120HMA I'd be about 450 pips up and still going strong all from three 10 pip risked 1 minute entries...




So there you go thats the system, now I've gone for the HRLY trend in this example but you can trade whatever timeframe trend you want, its up to you...

I've attached my HRLY master template so all you have to do is open one chart on its own then drop this template on the chart and the TTindy will do the rest for you...

To use a 15 min top trenders just change the TTindy TF1 to 15 min and it will open 8 top trending 15 min charts ...

To use a 5 min top trenders just change the TTindy TF1 to 5 min and it will open 8 top trending 5 min charts ...

Well there you have it and I've attached the 5 min master too now so now you have no excuse....

I did my normal I think and just moved to BE when I was happy price had moved away far enough not to come back. I tend to watch the price and if I see it come back once to my entry and move away 3 pips or so I go to BE because if it comes back again you're in trouble... Remember we are trading 1 minute charts , don't worry about it knocking you off at BE as it will then give you another entry and sometimes better than your last one...

I found today that trading with the HRLY trend that price seemed to move away quite sprightly so getting me to BE usually with in 3 candles..

Heres another tip for going to BE at the right time, have a look at this 1 min price action below



When price is trending strongly up then the candle bottoms are not taken out so once a new candle forms with its bottom above your entry you should be safe to go to BE because if price starts to take the bottoms out, you're in a downtrend and you want out.....

Very cleaver idea mate! So which combination do you think you'll use the most 60M/1M or one of the lower combos?

The EA's worked on my MT4 yesterday. I haven't checked my build . . .

I'm not sure is the honest answer but I think the hrly works well because the Big Boys use it to eneter into the daily trends..so we should get some support with our trades.

I'm very keen to find a HRLY say uptrender then wait for its hrly CCI to go oversold. Thats when we should start looking for the 1 min 120HMA to turn the same way so turn green, then get 2 trades to stick and get to BE..

This way we could then hold on the HRLY 120hma for maybe several hundred pips in a strong trending hrly pair...

But the other advantage of the hrly chart is that the money boys trade the 1 hr signals around the LO, so that is the time to look for the turns on the 1 minute 120HMA..

Lastly have a look at a strong trending hrly chart and I believe you will find the hrly cci signals are aroiund LO so proving the connection with Big boys and the hrly signals...

Morning all..

Not gonna be around for much today work is really keeping me busy today but will see if I can poke my head round the door for NYO open later...

Just looking at my trades yesterday and as I was trading an HRLY top trender GBPJPY and GBPUSD maybe I should of held as they are now approximately 150 pips above my entries yesterday, would be over 500 pips up by now if I had held them, with no signs of them stopping right now... Guess if I'm trading HRLY top trenders it would be cool to hold on the HRLY 120HMA rather than the 1 min 120 HMA...

All part of the learning game but this is what its all about catching a strong trending HRLY move but entering on the 1 min with 10 to 20 pip stops.

Unfortunately thou, If , buts and maybes, don't win football games.....

Gonna have a quick look through my HRLY charts just like yesterday and see if I can identify any HRLY CCI signals to trade on my 1 min charts...

Oh by the way I think I uploaded the wrong Master HRLY template as it had 5 min on the TF2 and of course it should be 1 min so we can just keep an eye out for some 1 min scalps whilst we wait for our HRLY trends to resume...

Quick break and retest of over night range is always worth a go ....

Heres my top HRLY trender GBPAUD that we are suppose to be selling today and its got a nice HRLY CCI overbought signal trying to lead us into the sell, but the question is do we really think thats going down today???

Hmmm, just not sure myself as it looks like its gone quite a way already also its the 3rd CCI signal since 120HMA turned red...

Plus last time it hit this level it went up 330 pips.

Just not sure....

anyone got an EA trailing stop that will close 50% at a given number of pips?

GodsClown, for some reason I can't seem to load the Manuel Trader EA. So, I can't see if it had that function . . .

Took me out at BE but gave me a better entry ...

gbp/jpy took out my trailing stop at 3.6 pips just before the bigger push up.
