Renko and Ichimoku Cloud Cross

Hi, I am planning to use this system for my trading, I am pretty new to FX. Recently I experienced some hickups finding a good Renko Builder for new MT4 platforms so I took a source and worked on it - works very well now IMO. Just copy it into your experts folder, edit the code for your preferred default settings and give it a try. If you have problems with this version, please let me know. I tested on MT4.00 Build 765.

I have learnt over the years that Renko is not as easy as some people think but that is just a personal opinion.

Are you using the V5 version at all these days ?????.
I placed it it on my charts as a test and all appears to be O.K.
Tried Mathtrader7 version and my computers and they froze so it is gone.
I have tried many versions over the years and like all Renko fans keep searching for a better version.

Hi Ronald,

Please try the one attached. I made a Renko Builder EA by myself and finished it today, not joking. It should run on new MT4 installations without any problems. Please report back if you are happy. You may want to change the "Build Renko Non-Gap Chart" option to false to see "normal" Renko Charts. I also added a "Reduce CPU Load" option if you need to run many instances of the EA.

I have been having a Hate /Love relationship with Renko for approximately 8 years.Always run Candle charts to compare before placing trades.
I am almost 76 years of age so forex helps to keep my old brain alive and keeps off the streets and away form any Bad Women...
I have never posted charts in the forums but I have a simple Renko system that may interest you.Requires patience but does have a high S/Rate....I am a Bad Looser.

As you can see this thread has been dead for some time because it does not work in this form.
Renko is not as easy as many new chums think but I have been a Renko fan for over 1o years and it can work .
