Yesterdays high was broken and I got 5, I also had a second trade running which got 10.
I do not trade yesterdays open but this can be traded, I do trade off open sometimes when I have a bad trade.
I trade Daily High and Low not open,

Looking for a long here (above 6500). Tails of bars show reluctance to go lower and price pushing into a triangle?
Not sure on this because the methods I normally use (bounce of pin bar, double bottoms etc happened before 8am )
What time do you oil traders or 5minute/15minute bar traders get to your computers?

Agreed -Nothing so far meets my usual approach to taking trades, therefore I do not feel comfortable with price today thus far. Sitting on my hands for now

The 08-00 ORB doesn't always work, at the moment the trade is still running on cable, If you keep stats on how many strikes /fails happen this can help.
remember if the ORB is broken in the first hour a lot of volatility can be expected.

Hi bud, hope you are ok.
I noticed that too with G/J you will find that over time different pairs will do the same, ie one is better than the others.
I used to trade e/u and g/u then I got put onto E/J, just make one pair your own or in Claudias case 45 lol ((( JOKING)))

You had doubts about the ORB being broken by a few pips , I would of after that long candle before 08-00 and the RSI being over bought.
I personally would of left it but a few pips could of been made..

edit.... like I keep saying do not rely on trying to trade the RELATIVE STRENGTH INDIE ( RSI ) use it for clues or you will lose....

No Comment lol.. it is short time frame with a lot of movement..

Hi Turnip, I cannot answer that as I never treaded that way. It looks good but I see other similarities on chart ,

For Turnip - drawing lines on chart sometimes help ... those are all short term trendlines..... Also drawing trendline from opposite side help to see where swing change direction. As you see it made here 3 swings up, made a three drive, then broke trendline down , after brake price pulls up to trendline ( many traders bulls in fare will take profit here) ...and dips down again. Thats how price acts. And see how bollinger band became flat, that means price will act inside of that Bollinger or reverse. Divergence on RSI was here too, but it is hard to see. Of course you see Pivots too. If three drive is touching Pivot or big moving average, most likely price will go to opposite direction. This is just some countertrend thinking for you. For me is big help if i draw trendlines or channels... Or my harmonic indicator does it for me You do what helps you... What makes it for you more visual...

P.S. This is just 5 min chart, we did not need to forget to look what higher time frames are doing. So countertrend - need to be careful on 5 min. Its just example

The crazy pin bars on Oil comes from median line on higher time frames (If i draw it correctly) Looks like somebody placed orders there. Who knows what they doing
Chart for fun. And look how nice uptrend going from Weekly Pivot here ... Look easy when you see it done.. Just study it

Hi Turnip, when I speak about levels you can always use the diagonals like Rabbit posted or call them channels, but they all look freaky to me (said in a nice way)

Technically speaking, still can see bearish chark pattern on Day chart . But Weekly Candle look so Green. Have 20 SMA on Weekly, which made strong bounce of 50 pips on Friday. So this still could still be a wiggle area.

todays daily candle could be a reversal and if so drop 200 if it is held or continue north for 150 it all depends were the big players go .so once that break is made whoopee. what is almost guaranteed is getting that 5


edit,,, I put that RSI 14 day on as it is at midway point as a clue.

edit yet again, and as Claudia and Rabbit point out check out the daily pivot

Got a short at 29.1 held over weekend which was unusual. Daily seems to have come to a stop maybe continue down. BoJ talking later in week could mess things up. Changed chart colours trying to keep up with Bunny
