Fantastic trades strat!

The MA from the shadow are 20 and 50, or 20 and 63? The path indicates 20,50 but here when you shared the indicator told to use 20,63.

Also, I've been searching the paper clip for a document explaining how to use the strat shadow, but I couldn't find it... Which one is it?

Thanks for the praise but they are just ordinary bread and butter trades we do day in, day out, week in, week out, year in, year out. They provide income while we wait to resume trend trading.

I changed the 50 to 63 maybe a couple of years back after I had a programmer search for the optimum length across all pairs over their total contract life.

As far as I know there is no document that summarises how we use the Strat Shadow. It's all here in this thread and of course in www.stratsforextrading.com

Hello Strat,

I follow your thread for a couple of weeks now and first of all I want to say that you are doing a fantastic work! Really impressive!
What I would like to know is something about your stoplosses. I can't assess it if I read +150 pips or +400 pips as long as I don't know what the risk in pips was.
For example when you trade GBPNZD on a daily basis, your stoplosses could be easily more than 200 pips because of the pair's volatility. Therefore I would like to know if your stops are really that huge according to the daily timeframe. I ask that because I think this kind of trading is only possible with a very big account. Trading the daily timeframe (with its stops) on a $2500 account (for example) might be almost impossible with a risk of 1-2% per trade, or am I wrong?

Our Stop Losses are always at Swing High/Low or SR no matter how many pips that is. Our R:R is a minimum of 1:1. Your RISK is ALWAYS based on your account size and you adjust your LOT size accordingly.
