I will just stay with 10 tick range bar charts and same settings been making money with them. sometimes we try and make something perfect and forget that there is nothing perfect in this world though there is a perfect one we need to know

Divergence, when you do a look back do u have to change the contract month? I would assume so.

And when you are talking market waving do u also think the indicator should move more than 5 dots in a given direction?

when you set the chart setting to continuous volume rollover the charts automatically do it so when you look back its as if you were there. you want market to make waving moves HH HL and so on remember a new bar opens when you move 10 ticks so you want the market to be active

by the way I added the bb to the wilder macd setting is band length 6 deviation 2 till I figure out how to exploit it

I was talking and looking over charts with another trader and i noticed a component that was missing which is market structure.when i said market needs to be waving and then look for setups my mind was saying something else. So whats market structure? Its where we make HH HL or LL LH. So if we wait till we make a HH then wait for signal with the HL will make it a high probability trade and thats all we can ever ask for.

Taking care not to be caught at the computer when I'm supposed to be painting the exterior of the garden house (I was checking the football scores... that'd be soccer to you), this morning I wrote down "Support & resistance" which is the other half of market structure.

Great minds think along similar lines, if not entirely alike...

thats right jt so if we take out say a high we would look for pb and signal to be around the last high. Resistance turning into support

In regards to martingale, which I also wouldnt incorporate, you would have the fill problem as divergence said. Once u start to increase your contract size over 4 you would get partially filled so it wouldn't work. Hopefully the discussion of martingale end here.
