GodsClown,
You got me thinking about the different values, and what might be causing it.
I'm fairly certain it is just broker variation.
Here are 2 different brokers running the same dashboard, side by side:

The order is pretty much the same (occasional pairs transposed when the values are very similar)

Will talk about my whole trading strategy later on but basically its going to be a stand alone 1 minute trading system as I honestly believe we don't need higher timeframes to make money. We can make it here everyday just trading a couple of hours a day just after London open and the New York Open... Its all about making money and nothing else and we can do it everyday.... Just look at this chart when price crosses over the 120HMA when GBP is strongest and JPY weakest... This is simple, buy when price is going up, sell when price is going down .......

Just had a quick look as having a lunch break at work and saw this little set up just crossed 120hma and first small pullback but worth a try as at BE straight away...

Nope stopped out at BE on GBPJPY but nice GBP dominance here so lets try Top Trender GBPCAD just breaking out so took it and get to BE quickly don't like breakouts but just couldn't resist it...

Picture perfect entry 50 pips lower down right after the turn of the FSMA. Don't come much nicer than that.

Took another 10 there but I'm getting in a bit late as the first 2 CCI signals after a colour change on HMA are the best entries but if we wait for TTindy to signal at least we have an established trend to trade..

I've had 5 winners in a row now up 50 plus pips which is 5% on my account, just taking my normal entries but banking soon as price falters , following the instructions iof my awesome mentor Martin... Cheers Martin, think I'm close to cracking this game once and for all...

By the way look at the earlier signals I'm aware they are there and the TTindy might be getting us in a little later but I haven't been watching today so maybe they signaled earlier not sure...

The other argument is that the TTindy is getting us to the trades once the trends are set...Time will tell but early signa are we're onto something pretty good here..

Hi Pres78

Our posts obviously crossed over but like I said before not sure if the pairs would be top of TTindy at that turn but the HMA has got an alert on it so maybe we should use that???

Also of course we are looking at top trenders so those signals work looking back but how many failed without the TTindy calling our attention to them???

Well worth looking at every CCI signal after a slope change for sure...but would have to be careful of the higher trend pushing against us???

Have a look top left of my chart its the indicator there which tells you which pairs are trending the strongest, but it gets better than that since our friend GodsClown has modified it to automatically open the top trending charts, keeps your attention on the strongest movers. Half the battle is not trading ranging charts and if they don't open up you can't waste your time looking at them....can you???

Any thoughts???

Yes, are you new to forex trading by any chance?????

Sorry just a bit of fun, its not a standard CCI its one modified to siut my trading so look back through the thread and you're see all the indys available to download. you're have to do a bit of work and be careful because theres been updates to the TTindy in particular, but later or the weekend I'm gonna update my strategy and will upload current indys and templates etc..

If you are new to Forex then it goes without saying demo trade this or any other strategy until you are making profits regularly before going live with real money...

Good luck..

You are most likely right looking at the MA slope it wouldnt have been on the top of the TT for the 1 min for sure, also after an extended sideways move probably wouldn't be on the 5 min either. I don't use the TT indy so I will leave all of you to comment on it.

Wow look at the CDN dollar fly after that good news!

This setup as a top trender reversal as it put in a LL followed by a LH CCI setup so I hit it and took a quick 20 pips before the news announcement...

70 pips up and counting...

Well thats me done for a while whilst the CAD news unwinds itself and I've got some work to do anyway..

Also part of my new strategy is knowing when to stop and as I've made a nice 70 pips today worth 7% of my account I think I'll call it a day until London close..maybe have a look then..

catch you all later..

If you were in with your live a/c you would have made about 187 pips!! I will give my left kidney to be able to read a chart like you. You are THE MAN in my books!
Do you ever make use of a stochastic? I have been looking at it for direction, but it just confuses me more than helping!

Again, well done Clive.

Pieter
