Out at BE again after being 20 plus pips up so one last go at this and thats it... Wouldn't i be better off just trading each push down whenever it turns down????? I reckon I'd of got 30 to 40 pips out of it already,,, Hmmmm makes me think..{image}

Also carrying on in that vain took another 20 pips out of this double top on GBPAUD not a system trade but just appeared too obvious that it was about to reverse for me to ignore...

Just like we talked the weekend, EURUSD is in sell mode in Ttindy 15M and few minutes ago go off of the Ttindy 5m, and now Ill go for a cup of tea and watch if the beast want to go down in 1M. Lets see.

And yes it really is simple isn't it??After all you only have 2 choices up or down?? Find a strong trend or momentum as you say, where its painfully obvious which way its going, then wait for a pullback against that trend and jump on board... What confuses people is that price moves in waves, once you realise that its again simple, buy the bottom of waves in uptrends and sell the tops of waves in a down trend.
Use the CCI to identify these waves and you have a simple trading system....
I'm convinced the vast majority of traders over complicate the whole process, how can it get so complicated when it can only go up or down??

Clive, I have to say I finally feel like I'm making some kind of progress!
I have only been learning for 4 months now, so I'm a noob, but many things that you talk about, such as the signals, the MM and even the link today about the 1 trade guy, help me a lot.
I have always felt that I need that 1 system that works to keep me in a positive mindset and I can understand how the market works(or doesn't) and then learn longer term trading perhaps.
As of now, I am concentrating on getting 40-50 pips a day for sure and maybe slowly increase my lot size. Had been looking for a MM system like yours for a while now!
Would you suggest any reading on scalping in trending markets/ranging markets as such? Maybe something you found useful in developing this system?

Glad to hear my thread is helping you But I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend any books or anything else on trading vast majority are total bullshite ....
I'll save you time and money and cut through all the shite for you...
Price can only go up or down, its not complicated and in fact I will make it even simpler for you. You only have ONE choice to make when you look at a chart, thats right just ONE choice, not too complicated for you is it?? Just ONE choice to make. Are you a buyer or a seller of that chart. If when you open up your chart you don't know 100% which way you want to trade don't reach for your fibonacci tools, don't start counting Elliot waves, don't start looking for supply and demand levels , don't reach for your crystal ball or your lucky rabbits foot.
Reach for another chart where you do know which way its going with 100% certainty...If you can't find one don't trade....NO trend No trade!!!!
Find a strong trending chart where you have no doubt which way its moving.
Heres my 5 rules of trading....
RULE 1
Look for a strong trending chart where its painfully obvious which way its going.
RULE 2
If you can't find one don't trade.
Go back to rule 1.
Once you've found a chart where you have no doubt which way to trade it and therefore know 100% which direction to trade it in then move onto Rule 3.
RULE 3
Remember, price never moves in a straight line, it moves in waves, it waves up or it waves down. Therefore sell wave tops in a downtrend and buy wave bottoms in an uptrend. NEVER buy wave tops and NEVER sell wave bottoms. We can identify these waves by using our CCI indicator -100 levels are wave bottoms and +100 are wave tops..
Rule 4
When price falters then exit...
Rule 5
Go back to rule 1.
And there you have it my friend 5 simple rules to trading stick with them and you won't go far wrong....
