Price has made a clear break out of range and converge at the top @ 0.7664/65. Price more likely to move higher from here. IMO, a retracement from the highs at 0.7703 would be a buying opportunity. Im looking at 0.7680 support level which is a 50% retracement and pivot point.

Though, the pair isn't likely to decline in near future, the ascending trend-line, connecting highs marked in March end and recent highs, continue supporting the steady and slow up-move. Upside resistance, 0.7730 and downside support 0.7640 and 0.7590

Price action looks to be marching higher - wonder if it can make it back to the daily 200 MA?

Hi all,

I think AUDUSD is not quite ready to be bought yet. I think it's gonna oscillate and range for another few weeks to confirm a bottom, then I think we might see a march upwards.

The AUD has some bigger news coming out in a few weeks (starting around April 20 onward). I think that could be when we see a breakout upward.

Just my opinion though, amigos.

A rise to 77.72 is highly likely now if the magnificent practitioners of Elliott Wave are to be believed.

AUD/USD had been making higher highs but further up move has been restricted as price reaction towards the ascending resistance lines has been strong.,.. furthermore price barely stayed above previous day highs and formed a bearish butterfly pattern (ABCD) at the highs.. . price likely to consolidate between 0.7660 - 0.7727.

It looks like a trend, at least short term, and in my world short term in a few weeks to a few months. Especially on a 1 year chart. If you look at the chart where tits showed up previously this is going to be a significant move upward, into the .80s.

Typically the charts reflect fundamental changes. Not sure what those are going to be in the near future. Anybody care to guess? Greece plays nice, get more funding? Fed keeps rates where they have been for years? Any significant trade deals coming in the next few weeks or months?

You go looking for those in charts?

i think its range bounce if anything.... also look at that daily selling pressure tales.....

Take it outta context why don't you. that's an uptrend. Last time it went anywhere was recently and it went to .79. .80 is really unrealistic for you?

More likely will be ranging ... More likely sell on strength, agree. In 0 - 23.6 area maybe?

It's nice to be right. In this chart, you're comparing my .80 prediction with .94. So now you've taken my prediction to an even further extreme then to what you had previously. WTF? You need validation in your life that much?

Agreed that the pair is less likely to march till 200-day SMA, but the slow reversal from 0.7580 is likely fueling the pair's up-move towards 0.7820; however, a move beyond 0.7820 descending trend-line resistance, connecting highs from October, November and March, is less likely.
