I started to learn his method about a month ago, and haven't finished all these material.

this method starts off pretty basic, then it quickly gets so confusing and convoluted. Warning lines, sliding parallels, diamonds, a/r lines etc..

There are so many lines on the charts, going every single direction, it's amazing anyone has any idea what the heck is going on. As it's often said in business, to be successful you need a mentor, but that's extremely hard to find in trading.

I have many of the PDF's that I've read many times. The "Action Reaction" pdf is good up to about pg 33, then afterwards, EVERY single example he shows on that pdf file is such piss poor quality, it's impossible to make any sense out of it.

Charts from the original action reaction course are really OLD, that's already the best effort of picking up good quality chart from several original students' notes.

I like Tim's webinars more, the modern charting software looks better
I downloaded all the webinars from IB. Been going over some.

Nice energy point on n/u 1hr. I'd take it, but my feeling is that because this is trending downward, the best bet is to be patient.

Is it bad practice to draw forks that better fit price action?

I think I recall seeing tim do this in one of his CME webinars. He called it a "reverse" pitch fork?

I was watching that webinar today and ppl do ask about this reverse ML at the end
but what Tim said is "we can pick up B and C instead of starting at A"
then you move A up and down and see the quality of the ML or MLH

Tis been awhile, I thought reverse forks went left... capturing past action and from there you could pull multiple warning lines?

Eagle, this is a stock for WYNN, just had a question about were the action line should go in this chart?

Would it be the highest swing, or the lower swing that shows a retest?

I remember that webinar also guys, pretty sure you are right... they go left as per your cyan fork.

Also agree, dont curve fit.

Stick to 5 rules, & finding the cleanest range with the correct ABC pivots...

From eyeballing your chart...

A is the high. B (your ML). C next swing high (where it touches action reaction).
Then add a warning line (same spacing as median to outter) or try schiff it.

By "A" you mean the very top?. Can you put up a chart?

yep. the top.

could also bypass all that go down and use the swing high where it fills the gap (A) then B where your vert 2014 is then C swing high after (where it touches the Action)

Interesting price action on AU 1hr. This market looks like it's consolidating, because I'm getting both long and short signals.

Sitting on the sidelines for now.
