A good day!! I pointed out where I was looking in my test and you can see pretty clearly they worked well and your second trade would fit in the parameters too but it is a long way from your MA compared to the other trades. ( might explain the chatter sideways)

i reluctantly have to point out that your third trade was right into price/indicator divergence. That's why I look at the indicator when its rising above 0, falling below 0. Other wise you have divergence with price/indicator which can then go either way.

The question is always about probabilities. Today the trend was very strong up and was outrunning your indicator and it worked. Will it tomorrow with the same setup? The unfortunate thing about above/below is that some days there are no trades which is mentally hard to take. So if an indicator is on my chart I'm going to be picky because I know it's a half step behind the market. If one of the indicators signals is divergence, I have heed it. I don't have to take the short trade with the divergence against the trend, but I also don't have to take the long with the trend against the divergence. No trade is a very safe position.

Understood though when i back tested what i have mentioned the results were tremendous

Nice sermon jt. Would you be speaking German with a Dutch accent or Dutch with a German accent. It's a shame to be a TOO hard working American. I guess we'll just have to deal with the guilt of it all. (Isn't that what Easter is all about)

Now there's something we Americans could probably be accused of. We expect the world to learn our language and many of us only know one, and use it poorly besides. I once met a receptionist at a resort in the Canaries that was fluent in 7 languages and learning an 8th. While I only know English, I am attempting to learn the language of the markets. Trade well jt in whatever language you speak.

I'm a Brit, Sos, of Scottish descent and speak 4 languages (excluding Dutch) moderately well; the Dutch however all seem to speak at least 4 languages fluently, so there we go. As for the language of the markets, it's all study, study, study...

First 2 lot trade with HA... & instead of setting T1 in my DOM I bought a third lot... this is all your fault, H, I said I was too old to day trade LOL.. AND prob exited MUCH too soon (yep, as I write there she goes...), but still net +42 in the pot and have to pick wifey up at the station soon.
