This indicator shows the total tick volume in each leg of the ZigZag indicator. It may be helpful for Volume Spread Analysis (VSA) based traders. The input settings are the same as the ZigZag indicator.

Version 1.60 released. In this version bearish legs are shown as negative histogram bars. Bug fixes.

for some other analyse I like see averages
1- volume per number of candles per leg (vol/number)
2- volume per price move per leg (legs spread) (vol/spread)

Bro, very nice and creative indicator. On a casual note, I think of super mario game when I look at the volume bar.

you need to reduce the history what it paints or make it editable in settings please. its too much cpu using

I am not sure but dont you think it should start with the candle later? (2nd of zigzag until last of leg)
and if I could edit in setting to minimize for a 100 candles in history or so would safe a lot of cpu, thx

the indicator repaints a little because zigzag repaints. for me its not a problem but it just should be just mentioned

Version 1.4 of the indicator lets the user input the number of look back bars. I updated the first post.

nice indi but freezes my platform. Any ideas how to fix this (I tried even 20 candle history).

This indicator is based on ZigZag indicator. Make sure that you have the original ZigZag indicator in your platform's MQL4/Indicators folder, and that it works fine.

I set history between 100 - 250 and have no problems. Is it updated for the 2nd candle?
