Don't look for this line in the code. Kos wants to tell us that we can use many reentries if this conditions are met

Yes any normal online chart, I use GBPJPY. put the EA on it, and keep the offline chart(s) open.

The reason I like it that way is that, if I miss an entry or stop out by BE on H4 basket and I want to join the trade again, I simply just type M15 in the timeframe of the EA, then it stops watching the H4 and starts watching M15 offline chart and once it has gotten a reentry I simply type H4 in the timeframe and the EA is back watching H4 again.

the LONG from last week Thursday, 2nd of April is still on and BE already. The rest is stress free from here.

I just hope people (basket cases like me) are trading and making money and not just hopping from thread to thread testing all the systems and demoing year in year out. and after demo of six months you find out its not good and off you go again to another one, Now the first quarters of 2015 is gone and before you know it the year itself is half gone.

Look very well, patiently pick one system settle down with it. See what is offered here over time in H4 and say if its impossible to make money, which ever way you choose HAS, IXOAH, CCI, etc on H4 not many signals but very solid ones that last for weeks.

How can we add this to the EA when we don't have the source code? I'm not a coder but I'm alright reading it just not writing!

-If tidane Trend is down and the previous candle's CCI is > then 0 and the current candle's CCI is < then 0 then its a SELL trigger

if (tidaneTrend is up && CCI_pre < 0 && CCI_cur > 0) BUY = true;

-If tidane Trend is up and the previous candle's CCI is < then 0 and the current candle's CCI is > then 0 then its a BUY trigger


Correct me if I'm wrong!

Also if I am missing something and I can add it somehow let me know

For me the main thing is the study and research of new avenues of investment, stability and statistics that get hit.
I've read that there is no backtesting contrasted this lack of historical system (if any enchanted) and therefore the manual of the series that has is what I study. Apart is the result of more veterans in this business, they are the ones who can really give certainty of the success of this system rather methodology.

So I ask an opinion of which the most appropriate to operate this schedule basket serious, I am inclined to one of eight pairs including USD, EUR, GBP, CHF and JPY, including XAUUSD "gold" or one of its derivatives in currencies, advised by espertos commodities market ....

Kos, Would you mind sharing what settings you use on CCI candles for each of the three time frames, 15 min, 60 min and 4hr ?

I think I read somewhere it's 70 on 15 min? 1hr & 4hr are they 105,? 110,?
Period and price for each would be helpful.

If you can't afford to get it wrong wait till you can. Don't risk money you can't lose! If you can't afford to lose it your emotions will get in the way.

Now for the settings, I use CCI 105 on 4hr. Or use the Tidane Trend and enter with the 105 CCI. Put it on your chart and you can tweak the settings if you like.

Thats what I do, but I take no responsibility for your trading.

Hi Kos,

I have a question re: T101 Basket Trader v2.3 _b7xx EA and hope you or others can help.

I am not a coder, just capable of modifying a bit.

The default is set to case 5 , which I believe is for core5 pairs. I want to make it work for AUD5 pairs (and for others once I am OK with it).

Please guide me how I should modify it, perhaps the following lines?

this version of t101 works with text files like seller9's basket ea, no need to modify. just create the text file in the mql4/files folder and make sure to include the .txt extension in the t101 settings, for example:

text file title: AUD5
text file contents:

5
AUDNZD
AUDCAD
AUDUSD
AUDCHF
AUDJPY

type this into t101 settings under 'PairsFileName': AUD5.txt

also change 'PairsInBasket' to 5 but i'm not sure this is necessary

Thank you grrbear for the kind answer. Having done what you have described, I get "Can't read file AUD5.txt" error message pop up. No pair names appear on the offline chart window of course.

What could be wrong?

Edit: Removed the number of PairsinBasket, then EA reads the file AUD5.txt. So far good. Thank you.
