was really interesting watching FNG click my script for closing all orders, and the stop orders get closed before the NZD GDP spike occurred.

Guys, can anyone recommend brokers good for our strategies? Live account experience needed. I still haven't found a suitable broker since Alpari UK went broke.
Tried Activ Trades but it totally sucks.

Hi Alan

Been playing with this EA for a bit....great EA by the way.
I have a problem with the EA cancelling the trades(buy stops sell stops) 5-7 seconds after they or placed at specific news time
I cant figure out why....my broker allows trading the news so they say and when test the EA away from news time
there is no problem....the trades stay until STWAN expires or i manual cancel them.
Is there an setting that could be crashing the trades right after they are placed?
Or do I go give my broker hard time for canceling my trades?

How many seconds did you input for STWAN

I believe I had it set on 1-hr TF...but never changed it going into news....I wasnt even around. When I test it, say 3 min from now it works fine. The stop orders stay until I close them manually or they time out(3000 sec)

maybe your maxspread is too low and when the spread grows the ea canceled the orders

Thanks Quiet. That could be the problem think my spread is sitting around 6 and when the news hits the spread is wild at the time of news then cancels. It doesnt cancel during non-news times as the spread is stable. I will investigate to see if that is problem

Guys, also remember that MaxSpread is in points not pips. So for 6 pips you need to put 60. Many brokers are hitting 15 pips during News so I would be setting MaxSpread above 200 personally .

Got slipped about 15.9 pips. My buy stop order got triggered before news got released with a 0 deviation. so FNG clicks my close order script for a -3.8 pips loss for me.

Lucky to be closed by the script cos a whip occurred some seconds after news release and tested my sell stop price level

Hi Alan
First of all, thanks for your great work on this EA.

Is there a way to move the SL closer once the trade is in profit without moving the SL all the way up to Break Even? I'd like to be able to reduce the SL by about half once the trade is in profit. Is it possible to use BEoffset with negative numbers so it would be points below BE instead of points beyond BE? Any other options?

What would be the ideal SL to be set if Max spread we are setting at 200 points?

Really boring week. Had just BE on GBP CPI & C. Retail Sales, only 2 trades I straddled this week

I noticed while straddling today's GBP news, I was in small profit but my BE had not activated yet, I manually set BE. As the price started moving in my favour, the EA was trailing the trade but the SL kept resetting back to my manually set BE level.

Is it that the EA discontinues management of a trade anytime a manual intervention occurs?

I straddle with Hotforex on NFP and Retail Sales. If no sudden odd whipsaw knocking out Stops then profit curve is just beautiful. Very low (no) slippage on exits.

Hi..Can somebody please explain to me which part of my settings has made my trade close at 1.47799? thats a +25 points from BS(1.47774). I afraid I'm not clear about the idea of BEPoints and BEOffset. your time and advise much appreciated..Thank you.
