it's always a good sign (for short sellers) when a hammer pattern (usually a bullish formation) does not hold...

Yes I know, the GBP/JPY seems to be breaking out from its downtrend (see 1h chart below).

I don't like the double pullback though...

Very common configuration and Important Piece of Knowledge. If people remember that - you helped them considerably.
One Should mention also the mirror opposite - when a downward hammer is DISrespected by rising price.
