On a more serious note now:

EarnNow - there are many good and well known traders that explain the recurrent fall of price - from areas of previous abrupt falls (e.g. shooting star, but not limited to it)
as caused by lots of institutional orders left lying in waiting - waiting to sell more, where they once roamed free sold a bunch.
And of course a mirror image of that argument as relates to buying areas.

Do you agree/subscribe to that view ?

By the way these people identify them as "supply and demand zones". Well - supply for selling, and demand for buying of course :>

Well, when a price goes down and reaches a specific level, buyers step in and stop the downtrend, because they perceive these levels as an excellent buying opportunity ("price is cheap, let's buy").

If the buying comes from the smart money (big players), you will usually notice a quick and strong price rejection at that level. This is the demand zone. And most of the time, the price will often revisit that support area 20 or 30 bars later. If the previous buying activity at that level was also done on huge volume, this area now becomes a good spot to initiate a long position with minimal risk.

Thanks - but you have answered only 50 - 70 % of the Q.
The specific view of these (by all means good) traders is that at the initiation level of either very sharp or long price movements
ARE STILL LEFT significant unfilled orders of "big players" OR the same players will place additional ones again.

They use it as a guidance to mostly "bounce" from S/R zones (w. very tight SL)

when the Earth turns - and my windows once again transfer allow in lots of enlightening rays of our local star - for now Nighty-Night

The head and shoulders pattern - on the EUR/USD (30 min) - that you talked about is now complete, kind of. Please note that this is not a very convincing H&S. In my opinion it's a fake.

And that means that the Euro could go even higher in the next few hours, at least on the smaller time frames...
