Extreme TMA System

Hi Connect,
I've attached the stochs indi's I use in the overlay.
The theory is simple enough as stochs are a sophisticated moving average so we are looking for a cross for a meaningful change in direction when both stochs are close together usually in the over 85 or under 15 areas. They are ideal in catching safer trades.
The TMA fast and tma true are already posted here in this thread.
I have two main settings but in renko trading I use the 89-5-5 version.
Template attached that I am trialling - but you need to delete on of the two versions (fast/true) from the template so it is followable in live trading.

I'm a total supporter of Renko trading and all these indicators are more suitable for range or renko.
But TF charts are doable too.

I need help with 2 things.. First, is there an indi for Extreme TMA that is compatible with Sierra Charts? If so, where can I find it.


Second, what is the logic (code logic) for the Extreme TMA bands? Is it a Triangular Moving Average with what type of bands?

Hello Al and also to all traders who fallow this topic !
I have one MT4 template with TMA indicators like in the picture attached. My question is as fallow: We have the price noise which is moving between the higher and lower boundaries of the channel. How it's possible to automatic close / open a trade when price touch lower / higher limits of the channel? The code must be very simple:

Start with price in the middle of the channel:
- if price goes up open a sell order when high TMA is touched
- hold the order until price reach the opposite TMA , close the sell and open a buy order
- Repeat

I will be very happy to see some ideeas if it's possible to compare actual price with the TMA price and if they are equal execute some actions (open and close orders)

I'm beginning to read this thread and while I see that the extreme_spike indicator has been dropped from this system, I have added it to some charts and it seems to be a good predictor of trend reversal. I cannot find an explanation of what this indicator measures, though. If someone would kindly provide that explanation, I would be appreciative. Thank you.

Hi, Can someone please help me convert this FastTMALine to Jforex? I tried using the converter by Dukascopy but during live feed the lines gets screwed up. See the picture. Also, is it possible to add an option to alert only when TMA goes from bull to neutral or bear to neutral? I find the neutral TMA good for looking for breakouts or possible reversal.

10.2 TMA slope Oscillator is totally so much repainting indicator then it exist in this system ?while there are so many good persons who modified this system alot ? why they dont remove 10.2 Tmasslope norm indicator ..as it is so repaint it self ????

The only one who ever built proper TMA in NT7 was TheOilMoney(dot)com when they launched IndicatorIncubator. All that was moved on when NT8 beta launch was finalized and they are now doing fully automated trading events. Contact TheOilMoney to see if they still have access to the "ibands" channel (a version of TMA).

I am start the strategy tester 30 minute timeframe and put on the chart the TMA line indicator with timeframe H1(in settings)
The first day draws correctly, but then starts to draw just straight lines...
Is there a fixed version of the indicator?

I am having an issue in my EA reading buffers from the FastTMALine indicator

SetIndexBuffer(0,gTMA);
SetIndexBuffer(1,gUpperBand);
SetIndexBuffer(2,gLowerBand);
SetIndexBuffer(3,gBull);
SetIndexBuffer(4,gBear);
SetIndexBuffer(5,gNeutral);

The first three band values are returned correctly, but i get nothing from the last three values representing the slope (buffers will all return the max value 2147483647).

How can i read the color of the slope at a given candle?
