LMAX grow considerably over the last few year, and as I see now they are expanding their services. I only heard good things about them. I'll personally keep an eye on them and consider to do business with them in the future. But for sure I'm looking for more feedback from the guys who do their trading operations through them.

I know I'm missing something, so can I ask the stupid question.

What would be the main difference between opening a professional account(retail) and POP with LMAX? If I'm not mistaken the current LMAX model for accounts is to receive liquidity and route orders vie either the banks or there own exchange.

For this questions lets say your opening a small account 20-50k. Would there be any benefit from opening a POP or would you need a larger account? Are there any perks in opening a POP (custodian account, commission, spread, ect.)?

Sorry if this is an obvious questions but to me a POP has always seemed like a higher quality, more stable, reputable broker.

So unless I'm missing something but the main point seems to be more leverage? That cant be it.
