Does anyone know wat happened to the rumors about KPMG selling off Alpari? IronFX, Pepperstone and others were interested in Alparis UK assets. Id love to know what is happening with that. Thx.

most of the brokers mentioned around to journals (i am not mentioning any in particular for obvious reasons) did it as a publicity stunt for customer acquisition.

up until a few weeks or week ago i was told from a few "industry insiders" that negotiations were still taking place but not for the company as a whole but rather the client list.

in fact all brokers (as fast as i am concerned) contacting the administrator were after the client list or subsidiaries/offices with "special interest/licenses/client" and most of them used this reason to get special access to information regarding the company.

The claims portal confirmed I have 3 accounts. At the left hand side of 2 accounts is the letter P and on the third is letter C. I've no idea what those letters mean and KPMG helpline couldn't tell me. Anyone have any idea?

Also to continue your claim you have to agree with your amount and then the other button will come up as green and ready to continue. That's very unethical if its true and should be made aware to the clients. It is enough frustrations to get your own money back and on top of that to be misled during the process of claiming it back.

Why would a non-english speaking person open an account in the UK ? Odd thing to do wouldn't be able to understand the platform and trading by phone would be fun. Believe it or not Weive is not a common word for English speakers as it doesn't exist. No surprise most retailers lose.

Think you missed the point. Leave it at that. This forum really has gone down so low. Cobra I don't care what language people speak but common sense says if you have an account with uk broker speaking english might help? Taking my small mind away from ff for good never read so much rubbish.
