Disliked{quote} CAD news in 8 minutes Edit: apologies, you'd already factored the news in on your chartIgnored

DislikedDecision Point Edit: The original post was a bit long and wordy. It seemed much more erudite to just say that the market is made of lots of so-called Decision Points. A Decision Point to me is the PA (in its various forms) that sets up the ongoing breakouts as price moves between the major swing points (supply and demand "zones") on a price chart. Hopefully the simple drawing below will assist. {image}Ignored

For some strange reason, we humans just don't seem able to get on with the idea that something can be simple. As sure as night follows day, if we're going to give ourselves any chance of success in trading we...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Simon, Without attempting to oversimplify... are you suggesting that you trade this by waiting for price reaching, say, a Supply level and trading towards the Demand level or scalping at Decision Points?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Essentially, yes. Edit: Let me clarify because I'm unsure of the meaning of your post. I try and catch the major reversals at supply or demand. If I fail to do that, once price has established what I term its current market cycle bias (again, I never use the word "direction"), then I look for what I define as decision points to try and scalp into the move as a continuation. If I'm short then the targets will obviously always be demand or supports, the opposite if I'm long. Hope this makes sense.Ignored
