it depends on price action at the zone when price gets there.

That point is key - it's very much about what PA does once it gets there.

GBPJPY

Been keeping an eye on this pair for a while. Ascending channel still intact. Waiting to see if the H4 will pin some fresh air and produce supply at or around 155.00, which is around 300 pips north.

Scrub that for obvious reasons. Still not interested to sell it. Will revert to H4 and come back to this pair next week.

Re the above two posts: tedious.

Hello FF, hope you're all well.

Doing today what I always did but with the addition of a much developed supdem indie that
now works properly in terms of zone filtering and user-programmable audio alerts.

Day trading 4 x pairs on M1 charts.

If price hits a fresh RBD supply zone then turns and prints bearish engulfing PA - sell it. Stop behind the zone.
If price hits a fresh DBR demand zone then turns and prints bullish PA - buy it. Stop behind the zone.

Holding nothing overnight.

Take care all

Glad I came across this thread. I trade SD with PA patterns as entry confirmation. I understand most SD traders like to use limit orders and wait for them to trigger when they hit the zone. You definitely miss some trades by waiting for confirm entries but it has also saved some potential losses. Subscribed to the thread, appreciate you consistently putting up content Simon

Yep. The actual analysis of supply and demand can be very straightforward, however, trading it with limit
orders, i.e. trader belief that the market is going to turn at a predefined zone can be an incredibly frustrating
process, and an account killer. In that respect, pattern confirmation at the zones, while not a panacea, does give
us an additional element of common sense information just prior to entering the market. A good general knowledge
of traditional PA standards such as, pole and flag, double-top/bottom is still important as well because PA like
this may at times provide additional context for our zones, and therefore our trades.

great comments!
important candlestick PA formations at those S/R leves are actually keys to the correct/accurate long/short(fakouts/breakouts) trading decisions as well as SL setups.
The candle pattern is the signal, the inevitability behind it is the key.

While I would agree that Price Action (PA) formations (along with VOLUME) in or on the Zone is key, Supply & Demand Zones are not the same thing as Support/Resistance levels.

Wow, I was about to close my laptop and suddenly found this thread on the first page list. I also trade using S/D and I'm so glad to find this topic discussed. I'm still lacking in many ways when it comes to supply and demand, the execution, take profit level and other areas. I'm gonna try to read the thread through because it's still not that long compared to the other threads on this forum lolz

These are my drawing on the chart, I hope I can get some feedback on them. I appreciate any constructive opinion you seniors can throw.

I hope this thread can come back to live again with more senior S/D traders in this great forum! Ok, now I'm gonna seriously close my laptop for today.

This week setups. These zones have two possible entries to avoid huge stoploss. One at top of D1 zone where we wait for BOS at LTF. If no BOS, no trade. Than we wait for price to reach H1 zones inside D1 zone. Here we set limit orders bcz our stoploss is minimized and they mostly work.

I am still learning how traders like you guys determine supply and demand? I know everybody supply and demand differ from each other but i just want to hear your opinion on how you guys determine supply or demand zone.
It will be a great insight if you guys are willing to share your opinion/view with me.

trade safe
Cheers
