DislikedHello Guyz, I am studying this thread from the very beginning, I am actually around page 110, so I apologize if my question has ben already covered. I have been wondering how to fit this method to my dayjob schedule and I have to test my ideas... So, here is the question : How do you backtest this method??? DislikedTrading the AUD/USD during the Asian Session. There was a strong move upwards due to some fundamentally related sentiment, it then appeared to be at a high point, so I watched it for a while and the order flow appeared to be changing to bearish so I entered short. I hope my chart is clear. Any questions, comments, criticism or advice is welcomed. {image}Ignored

I tried the LFH simulator, but you cannot open other than a single order at a time. I am trying right now the "traders gym" simulator included in Trade interceptor, time will tell) What are, in your experience, assuming you have any in this subject, the...

Disliked{quote} Hi Maxx, i use 2 platforms, Ninja and marketscope by fxcm, i've always done my back testings and analysis the old fashion way of going back in time hiding the future and move forward candle by candle, it's hard work and time consuming but worth it. However Ninja trader platform have a software called Market replay which is a good simulator, so if you don't already use ninja may be it's worth starting a demo account and use the system( all for free). when i test the market i always start by checking if there is any major data during that...

Disliked{quote} Nice response Georji. We are observing "the herds mentality effect in human nature in action" -well put. In Mr Pips webinar he demonstrates how to read the market and "manually" backtests his ability to read the charts. It is more than just a strategy with pre-set parameters, it is a SKILL to be able to read the charts. An ability for one to develop.Ignored
