1.10 for the EUR/USD.....nearly 400 pip rise, most of which occured in 5 minutes....wow.

Shorts from 1.09 got SL hit HARD, and I tried again from 1.10. Already took profit at 1.09, now awaiting price to react.

Jesus christ, I had a pretty big intraday sell order at 1.09; it's a good thing I didn't leave for dinner and stayed behind to sell at 1.10. I still lost money from the eur/usd, but at least that mitigated the impact.

Well done! 200 pips spike up to 1.1045 in 3 mins. I just happened to cancel my pending short at 1.0856 otherwise would be a total disaster day for me! Regardless how badly I wanna short EU, I still wont open any trade in these few days with US related pairing. Let the big-boys do their shows.

Daamm, I quit trading on the last GJ short run around 11A est due to news coming up and didn't want to have anything open,,, sure glad I did wow! Saw the 30 pip spreads at news time and shut it off couldn't trade with those. Bigger question now is where the heck is it going to go now that the news is over??

143 or so days ago, GJ broke into a consolidation 'area' at 179.8 and didn't fall back. I'm sure many of us recall that day. This 'shit fight' is it attempting to leave that area. Around here it may be quite volatile until it departs ... or breaks back in. It may simply drop, or come back to test this area later at higher levels.
The next (if any) move down is now predicated on losing 179.5, 179.2 and 178.5/8 again.

This is another one of those places where it can turn from a perfectly good reversal in the making into another continuation.

My suspicion though is that the first move up from 178.3 to 180.2, then the next move down to 188.2 and this new thrust into 181 where all part of one correction

Stay flat and try to get a sense of the currency movements. We've had a MASSIVE stop run for the dollar, well above our expectations for the EUR/USD. It's pretty much thrown all my intraday strategy to the trashcan, so I'm heading back to the drawing board.

Yes Eu was especially brutal, I just took 20 pip and caught 70 in the late afternoon. Aww jeeze I traded through the crash of 08 I can handle this little burp.
