Disliked{quote} everyone does but it would be a little bit more if it was in USD (and we later on converted to GBP) but its minor...the issue is to get our funds backIgnored
DislikedHey guys, could anyone help me out in this regard. In the first week of jan, I had deposited $100k with Alpari. As on 16th jan, my account equity is approx $110k. Now which route do I take to get my full money back? I know that FSCS doesn't pay back more than 50k which is approximately $74k. Also if I take the KPMG route, the Alpari helpline says, that they are not yet sure of I'll get my full money back. They are asking me to take advise from independent professionals. Basically the helpline doesn't help. Could anyone help me out with this?Ignored
DislikedThis is what is going to happen:
People who didn't trade after that fateful moment will get their money back as it was in their accounts (this may take some time though).
People with negative balances as a result from the CHF trades or others will be chased to pay what they owe.
People with positive results from the CHF disaster will NOT see their profits realised. You may be able to make some sort of 'claim' but good luck trying to win anything.
Is any of this fair or moral? No. But it is what it is. Since when have you known the financial...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Pure speculation. Did you read it in your glass ball? Facts please. "irregularities" can also mean the exact opposite. That Alpari detriment of the client unfavorable rates calculated. That's why I say that absolutely is not yet clear what will happen. Finished trades can not be undone easily. In that judges had to choose, I think. Emergency if it is challenged before the European Court of Justice.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Well if anything other than what I stated happens I will eat my hat.We already know negative balances are being chased. Yet no word on people who won CHF trades. There are a few members here that made a killing on the CHF. Lol I await the day when they come back here and tell us Alpari/KPMG paid them their winnings lol..... I have a feeling I will be waiting a looooong time lolIgnored
Disliked{quote} Hah! I think I'll wait here until someone posts here that they were paid out in full their winnings on any CHF trade by Alpari/KPMG. Sure you can take it to court, but that's a lot of hassle, time and trouble for something you might not even win, I mean, who are you gonna claim the money from? Alpari is no longer existing.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Ok.Ok.No more blabla...Start eat your hat. Too much ignorance.Ignored
Dislikedhi guys it update says ,the kpmg funds clients back as begining? that the first clients are who already confirm themselve's claim with Calim Portal that meas ,the kpmg faster than fscs ??Ignored
Disliked{quote} I do wish the people on this forum would read the notes on the KPMG website. KPMG themselves have advised that we will get our money back from FSCS far faster than if we go directly to KPMG, not only that but for those who have more than 50,000 invested with Alpari then those going through the FSCS route will get more of their money back eventually. It beggars belief that anyone would not go the FSCS route.Ignored
Disliked{quote} You will be able to go through FSCS in a later stage...when is requested. It's too late a guess for change idea You should finish process with kpmg and if something missing after that you can go through FSCS at that stage.Ignored

Disliked{quote} I left open two trades on EURGBP which were closed in profit by them. Never traded the swissy.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Alpari also said from the very start that it would chase negative balances, so you were stating the bloomin' obvious. Nobody who had trades on the 15-16th has been allowed access to the portals yet to verify their account. So I don't really know how you are claiming to be right...Ignored
Disliked{quote} My trades (not CHF) were closed mit profit, too. I did not receive any email but I could login and agree to my balance. I did not get confirmationIgnored
