yep i agree, your money is safe (wellup to 50.000GBP) no matter which country you reside in. this was confirmed by uk insolvency administrators we went to here in London.

what is wrong with you people?!

why are you choosing FSCS over taking money from KPMG???!! you do know FSCS could take a year or more to get your money? plus if you are >£50k you have no entitlement to get any of that extra back. if your account balance is correct, why are you not accepting KPMG to return your money? has the world gone mad?

KPMG was the first one said was likely to have money quicker by fscs.

No, the world has not gone mad! You are very misinfomed... We are not gonna be discussing over and over again the things that were discussed last week! If you wanna understand why people picked FSCS, go back a few pages and search for it. Otherwise good luck going with KPMG...

that statement is likely to be kpmg recommendation to go with fscs.

Not yet, and I don't expect it to be that soon... maybe in some weeks.

I have now access to the claim portal.
I had open positions during the SNB event.
Everyone who is not yet informed, should be in a short period of time.
At least I think so......

Does anyone of you have an idea whether to choose FSCS or KPMG(Alpari) for the claim?

Hi , i still don't know yet. I have the same question cause i made half deposit with skrill and wire. But i think we are all ensured indipendentment about your method.

I don't think they will process payments in several different ways... the same way will probably be applied to all.
Somebody said it will be cheque (didn't read it, so I'm not sure);
Wire transfer seems pretty simpler to me, but don't know if there's some law against that.
Pretty sure it won't be with some form of "secondary" payments, like neteller, paypal, credit card or whatever.

I don't get it how some are afraid that receiving a cheque or a wire transfer might be considered money laundry...
In my country, never, regardless of how I transferred money to Alpari or how I usually withdraw it.
Ah, was forgetting this detail... my initial transfer, my profits, etc - all have been declared to the IRS here, so... all is legal and have paid taxes, when due - maybe (probably) that isn't your case?

I think it does not matter how your money was deposited!
If you agreed your balance, the FSCS will receive the amount(figure) of money you are owed.

And I think we have than to send them the target account or something like that....

The most likely way of payment is cheque. FSCS is a government body and they tend to use cheques. Also, on previous claim from other companies that went under the payment was also sent by cheque.

I am from Egypt if i take cheque how can i cash it in my country?? Also if i choosed claim with kpmg is there any deadline to recieve my money??

Finally all of my money is 2500$ so better to go through FSCS or kpmg??

I funded my account by using neteller, and I want to get back my money to the neteller. My questions is:
Is that possible If I choose FSCS, Or it's preferable to choose KPMG?
