Looks to me that DXY (weekly) is in resistance zone of wave 3 of 3 - price is already 161.8% of wave 1 and time is 20 weeks compared to 21 weeks. Also oscillator is showing momentum slowing:

The scenario you described might well be the case as I have left room for some retracement. That 3 of 3 night not be done yet though and more upside might still be in store. Then we will have a 4 of 3 which could take us to 96 area. Then 5 of 3. The big retracement is when the all the the big 3 is done and the 4 could give is a 38.2% retracement of the extended move. And a much bigger retracement when the big 5 is done. That will sucker traders into thinking the $ is dead. Like I think you are implying care MUST be taken chasing $ from here. Thanks for the post and the EW count. Much appreciated

IMO even though question wasn't directed to me Monday holds the key for many of the worlds indexes, FTSE, S&P, DAX etc etc - short term at least.

If there is follow through then correction is on. If not then obviously new highs will happen instead.

It is looking like the breakout of the triangle structure is going to be to the upside...
