Exactly what I'm doing, but with smaller lots. Been great so far.

I'm still testing 1.0 True and False. False gets you the volume of trades, but it is risky (and it always open at the opposite direction, to finally get some profit later). 1.0 and 1.1 true are much like the same. Will try 1.1 false and see what happens.

ps.: Is it possible to add Magic Numbers on those, in the future? Thanks, it is for the purpose of testing.

mine are working fine, no such issue. but the only thing I found, multilot factor are seem not working anymore, my account are 0.01 lot minimum, but it's all open entry order at same size.

better avoid trade with GBPUSD also, because these pair had wider spread compare to other major.

I also wanted to add that my definition of dd is (unrealized loss) / balance * 100. As an example. Your balance is 5000. You have a loss currently of 500. 500 / 5000 * 100 = 10 so your dd is 10%. I make no connection to previous balances which is actually what mt4 does. So by mt4 definition, my one set that is now at ~4350 would be at 13% dd but for me it has little or no dd. The ea puts your current dd in the upper left corner. Also you should run the ea on another chart. You can set the magic number of the matrix ea an then it will only use the matrix ea's trades in case you have other trades. I will not be held responsible for your use of this ea.

I noticed that sometimes the first 2 trades are the same regardless of your settings.

The one I downloaded is not doing as I wanted. It's not closing all trades at 20% but it's pruning trades such as I tested last month and did not like that approach. Does this wipe all active trades once max DD is hit?

The ea is just a way to limit your risk and is not another system. To me it is also a way to increase your lot size without risk of account blowup. Also, this ea is already available in other trade managers like swiss army knife.

If this does turn into a bunch of questions then yes I will make my own thread but I hope this to be the last question. If the param magicToMonitor is -1, then it will close all trades. You can set it to magic number and then it will only monitor the trades with that magic number and then close them. The magic number for matrix is found in the comment of the first order in each series. So if the first order comment is 123-0 then the magic number is 123. It will close ALL trades with the magic number and if it's set to -1 then ALL trades o the account will be closed. The maxDD param is obviously just the dd percent allowed before closure. Please do not force me to open another thread because honestly, I don't have time for it.

Hi, I had the same problem but I think it is because you have the minimum lot size of 0.01 and if you set the MultiLotsFactor to 1.2 it will round 1.2 x 0.01 back to 0.01.

I have been trading this for a month and it makes good gains but DD multiplies when you end up on the wrong side of a strong trend change. I would be interested to hear of any ideas/experience anyone has in changing the settings (maybe MultiLotsFactor_TrendChange) to minimise this issue.

Looking at the Trade Explorer screens, would you conclude that the results show the best setting is 0.01 lots per 1000.00 balance? And limiting dd to 30% does not adversely affect the performance whilst adding a safety net?

Regarding the Max DD EA, as you can only run one EA on a chart, do I just run it on any one chart or do I need a second chart open for each pair?

First, I have 2 settings groups. None of the max dds got hit except for the one where it was 0.01 lots per 0.5k so it's really up to your risk. The results do look like you said and that 0.01 per 0.5k is best with a max dd of 30% but for some 30% dd is too much. Also, I have noticed that while the 20% got hit twice on the higher risk, as far as I can tell it never got to 25% so I have moved the max dd on the higher risk to 25%. So I have 20/30 on lower risk and 25/30/40 on higher risk. At this point, I think it's too early to tell. Let's wait and see at least for a week. Also, there is still a USDJPY trade that has not hit it's tp yet. I could have closed at be but I wanted to let the ea work just to see what would happen.

I dont know why my matrix 1.0 is not doing more buy orders (only long). And then i have now a very big DD hahahaha. I already close and open again the mt4.
