Here is an explanation from Bloomberg. Remember to trail your stop till the last second like Tony once said..... I was short too on that trade but trailed my stop till the last second, it gave me the space to breath until the actual spike came out. I'm +80 in as we speak.

1. Place a direct Market BUY or SELL order 1 minute before news

Hope we need to place both BUY and SELL order 1 minute before news event with 18 PIPS stop loss and 120 pips TP for both sell and buy. Please correct me if i am wrong.

1. Sorry, when I gone through your strategy again, realized that my understanding is wrong. As per this point we should place either BUY or SELL order. NOT BOTH. So if our analyze is wrong we will lose 18 PIPS and if we gain we will get 120 PIPS. Please confirm.

Major advantage of this strategy is we can avoid slippage and extra SPREAD.

Also on what basis you place BUY or SELL order. i.e., Do you analyze based on previous news event or TECHNICAL analyzes.

2. This system works only if we have 5 MINS chart.In my MT4 platform i can see only 1 MIN chart. Please suggest.

PS, yes, I know it has been a long time since I posted on the thread, but I keep wondering off and ending up back here...I suppose that I need to make a decision as to the strategy that I am going to trade and make peace with it...
